ac Button Replacement for Pickup T100 RAV4 Tacoma 4Runner 951017/2911017 / SW-1017C a/c Switch

I own a 1998 toyota 4runner and the switch although it looked the same fit very tightly and did not work. Upon trying to remove it it wouldn’t come out. I nearly destroyed the ac dash cover just trying to get it out. I had to rip the switches guts out just to get a grip on the shell of the switch. So now i wasted my money on the switch and the ac panel is damaged.

Wrong size, it says it fits a 99 once you plug it in you cannot get it out, had to use a Dremel to remove it horrible

Doesn't work for a 99 tacoma, warning do not install switch you won't be able to get it out.I have done this many times with no problems decided to order this switch and quickly found out it doesn't work. Ordered a replacement to see if it was a faulty button etc. Now I'm stuck chunking out plastic to remove it.

did not fit my 2000 tacoma ext 2wd truck , after modifying heavily to reach the connector just so i could push in it blew my fuse which is my fault .

Item completely worthless. Does not work the light doesn’t turn on once it snaps into car slot. It easily slid in but doesn’t work and now won’t come out so I have to go to the Toyota dealership for help.

This part arrived very quickly and had acceptable packaging, but.. as soon as I opened the packaging I saw that the casing of the button was crushed and pinching the button into place making it impossible to return to the off position. I suggest getting your switch from another source.

I liked the unknown ac blue light. But it's the same as o.e.m. and the little window where the green light was never lights up as well as probably made my car slow.
