very good for my model making

Received these the other day and are extremely blunt. Could run my finger across the blade with some force and no cut. Spent a good few hours trying to get them sharpened using the provided whetstone and strop but can't get them to a point where they are sharp enough to work with. Trying to carve with basswood blocks is extremely difficult and ended up fobbing these off and using a pen knife instead.

This kit is very good for the price. Having had one for £10 that was absolutely useless (blades were basically made from tin foil) this kit is good quality for the price and includes everything you could want for carving.

Poor quality tools, having used similar priced items before I expected more. It looks good but I wouldn't but again or recommend I'm afraid.

The tools look great but the recipient has yet to use them so unsure of how successful they are

Good little tool set. My 15 year old had spent hours in the garden whittling all sorts!

Very good piece of kit.

Very poor quality, all blades blunt, even after sharpening not good for the job. Would have been better spending a little more on one good knife. Not recommended.
