Can you attach castors?

There is nothing that allows you to attache castors. Even if you found a way to attach castors I 100% woudn't as the chair isn't designed for it. It centre of gravity when seated would be too high to be safe with wheels attached.

Is the chair assembled?

No, it has to be assembled but it's pretty easy and requires no tools. Took us 5-10 minutes.
