Aeska Galaxy Note 8 Case, Ultra [Slim Thin] Flexible TPU Gel Rubber Soft Skin Silicone Protective Case Cover for Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (Black)

When I first got this case, I thought it was okay, but I wasn't super thrilled. So, I ordered the Anley Candy Fusion Jelly case (reviewed separately). Turns out this is a far better case. It is slightly thinker than the Anley, isn't transparent, doesn't have the Samsung logo and is shinier than the Anley. However, it is a far superior case. It fits very well ad the top and bottom rise up to fully cover those areas and provide a more secure grip on the phone, while still leaving the edges visible and accessible. Unlike the Anley, it has separate cutouts for each button and items on the back of the phone, thus providing better protection and looking better, as well. In addition, the surrounding area of the cutouts on the back are raised slightly, allowing great protection when the phone is set down. The case is slightly slippery, but not enough to cause me to lose my grip. It does not interfere with the Pleson glass screen protector.

I'm quite surprised at how this inexpensive case quickly became my favorite. The grip is excellent in the hand and on flat surfaces. I don't mind bulky cases but this one is slim and light weight. I also have an OtterBox and a ZeroLemon case, each has its purpose, but for everyday use, I prefer this one. The raised buttons are more firm to press, and with the volume rocker split into high/low, it's harder to distinguish them from the Bixby button. There's adequate protection for the screen laying face down and good edge screen protection without limiting function. Qi charging and NFC are unaffected. The case is shiny just like the Note 8, and blends in very well with the design, next best thing to going without. The rear cutout aids in finding the finger print sensor, and the other cutouts are good while still protecting the corners. Very unobtrusive case if that's what you're looking for, but maybe less drop protection than a hybrid.

This is my second attempt at finding a "good" slim case. This is *the* one to get!It definitely is a snug and slim fit, allowing you to showcase the note 8's beautiful design in all its glory. It also seems to cover all sides of the phone (but I've yet to really test it with an actual drop), with the exception of the front screen's curved edges. They *may* be exposed. However for me it's not a big deal because I also have a tempered glass screen protector. And yes, the case allows space for proper installation of a good screen protector. Especially for under $10. Go buy it already!

everything is great except it is hard to push the power and volume buttons. I can't even use this thing! What a disappointment! it takes like 10-20X as much pressure to activate the buttons as normal. not acceptable. I recomend a diffrent case, this one will work but you will have frustration everytime you go to lock your phone. not cool!

For this type of case, this is a nice one. It's sleek, and provides some grip, while not significantly altering the overall look of the phone. The only protection it will offer is against scratches. It's not really designed to protect from impact.

I just got my note 8 and looking for a case that protects without adding too much bulk. This is the perfect case ive been looking for. It looks really good, and keeping it look like it's original design. I got the glossy black, which looks awesome. Also it gives a really good grip.

You could get the same quality from Dollar store.Not worth the price.

Very simple, plain, basic case. Fits a little loose on the sides on my phone; however, I just recently dropped it on the street and it protected it.
