Great writer, this is the second of Susan Elizabeth Philips books I've read, I read 'The first Lady', which was wonderful, This book has the same touching, tangible style that just makes you - laugh, cry and not want to put the book down. Thank you Susan, please keep writing.Christine

I understand why some readers thought this was contrived. It is implausible in lots of ways.However. I absolutely loved it, read it all night through. It hit the spot for me for lots of reasons. I related to all the characters in one way or another.I just started my awful New Year diet so gave up all vices cold turkey. This is an awesome low fat treat :)))

What a delightful book. Full of angst and light and interesting worlds that 'normal' people know nothing about. Exploring how even the most fixed can change and find an easier way to live. Loved it.

This is the second time I've tried this book due to all the rave reviews inn book groups I'm in and although i finished it this time, i still didn't get what all the hype was about. It wasn't awful but it wasn't great either.

I like Susan 's Book as there Fun and Nice to read at the end of the day With a happy end to them . yes you know where your gong when Susan Books , But I like that . with books like this .

I've finally convinced myself to read this book after so many good reviews and was really disappointed. There's something almost childish about this romance, which makes it awkward, cringey and predictable. Both hero and heroine seemed immature and I struggled to feel chemistry turn into a bond between them. The whole tiger-speaks-to-heroine and baby-elephant-follows-her-around thing was also a little bit too much for me.I do love a grovelling hero, but everything happened so fast, I was left very confused as to how both H and h were able to switch feelings so quickly....In addition to that, very poor job of editing - too many grammar and punctuation mistakes that just put me off.I imagine the target audience was probably teenagers, in which case I guess the book works, but if you're past that fanciful stage, I would not recommend.

I have this book on my kindle and paperback. I've can't even count how many times I've read it. I really love all of Susan's books

Alrhough i love Daisy and Alex in this book, It was really the animals that stole my heart-Glenna, Tater and Sinjun-amazing creature. They made me laugh. They made me cry. They made me want a Tiger of my own. Well done S.E.P.
