If you are staining your deck, this is the right tool. I’ve tried rollers, mops, sponges, etc. This was the ticket. No splattering, no waste, easy to use, use it somewhat like a mop, but so so much better. Btw… you will need to purchase the pole. This one worked perfectly. This applicator is a bit pricey but worth it. The only issue I had was cleaning it after use there was no instructions on how to clean this bad boy but I just used warm soapy water and hand washed it. I got most of the wax out only a few traces left and it can be used again. I am very pleased with the results and the cleaning issue is not so bad so overall a great product. Oh and you can take the sheepskin off the wooden base and replace it or wash it.

This is perfect for applying floor wax as it was intended. YMMV on other surfaces but on smooth terrazo, tile or other such surfaces it holds wax great and applies evenly. Didn't notice any shedding. Remove the pad from its holder and it cleans very easily with mild soap and warm water. Let dry, replace and you're ready for the next job.

The website shows a applicator with a handle. What they sent was just an applicator, with a cheaper looking applicator. The applicator worked fine, but it was not as good looking as the one shown. I could buy a similiar sheepskin applicator for about $20.00, while I paid $26 for this "combination". False advertizing rates only 1 star.
