Great product and such an easy straightforward installation, it took me a little over 5mins! It is sturdy and looks smart, but overall the best thing about it is the easy release and auto lock. It closes like a door and locks in place after you enter/exit. The dimensions are accurate, my doorway is 69cm exactly and it fits perfectly and works like a charm! Disregard the review which says it doesn't fit a 69cm gap, as they haven't measured to the wall, but only to the skirting on the stairs- that is their mistake. I was almost fooled by it, and decided to take a chance and buy the stairgate and am so glad I did!!I would definitely recommend this to everyone with small /narrow doors or stairs.

Perfect for for my relatively narrow corridor, very sturdy and easy to fix. Really good height too for easy opening. I love the fact that it opens both ways and auto closes. Couldn't be happier, baby couldn't be safer.

We needed a narrow Stargate to fit our daughters bedroom. I liked this one as it's a little taller than other standard ones, so less risk of her successfully climbing over it if she tried! It was very easy to put together and seems very sturdy. I've given it a good yank to make sure it doesn't budge at all and it stays firmly in position. The gateway is a little narrow as others have mentioned but still easy enough to get through (and I'm a plus size lady). Overall a happy customer!

This baby gate was fairly easy to fit. It was mostly chosen for its ability to fit our narrow doorways at a reasonable price point.As part of the fitment, it comes with adhesive foam pads and plastic cups that you adhere to the doorway to give better grip. I had hoped to not need them, but after trialling it that way for a couple of days I discover that the 1-year-old was strong enough to cause the gate to slide in or out of the room just by shaking it. Hard plastic not providing enough friction even with the adjusters set at maximum tightness.So the foam pads have been stuck to the doorway as per instructions and they seem to be holding firm after several weeks of usage.We'll have to see what happens when the foam is removed whether it leaves a residue or damages the paint.Apart from that, I am satisfied with the gate. It is easy to operate one-handed and keeps the younglings where they are supposed to be.

I was looking for a fairly narrow gate that didn't need to be permanently fixed into a doorway. This gate serves the purpose perfectly. It is neat, attractive, and easy to fix in place. I did not use the screws or adhesive pads so I am able to move it to another doorway if need be and remove for storage when not in use. it still remains firmly in position when fixed. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Bought this to fit a 69cm doorway, was put off by a previous review below for 69cm but thier review is inaccurate!! As you can see on thier picture the bottom has a skirting board which was most likely the 69cm and the top of the wall was larger, so this was thier mistake. I'm so glad I bought it despite thier review as it fits my 69cm doorway perfect! It's very difficult to find a narrow enough gate but this works perfectly! Would highly recommend.

Well-made gate which is very easy to fit. Pretty secure in the door opening but an energetic toddler could probably loosen the pressure fittings. If you want to avoid that, you'd need to put some holders around the clamps on the door jambs. I believe these are supplied, though I didn't fit the gate so I don't know what's happened to them.

Slightly more expensive for a slim gate than a standard which is upsetting but it seems to be a theme for all slim gates, apart from that wonderful gate, keeps the child out the kitchen and was easy to fit even with their assistance. We really enjoy the auto close too.
