Q: Are there any reviews that don't have the " ...or my honest, unbiased, and genuine opinion" it seems like most reviews are not actual purchases

I bought this fan in 2017 for travel. I feel like I'm suffocating on a plane. This little fan is the best, it blows really strong for such a little fan. I've told lots of fellow trip travelers about this little fan. I keep it charged easily with the usb when I recharge my phone. Best travel gadget I've bought.

Q: Which way does the battery slide into the fan? It was packaged separately with no instruction to show which way it goes.

If your battery is like mine (its blue and non descript) each end has silver on it one being smaller than the other. Place the smaller end at the top of the handle closest to the fan . hope this helps.

Q: How can you tell when the battery is fully charged?

it seems to have a red light glowing when it is connected and is charging. I charged it overnight last night and the light didn't change in color. But I think overnight is a good charge time. The most I've run it continuously on battery is three hours, and it probably could have gone much longer.

Q: Do I have to use rechargeable batteries?

You can just keep it plugged into usb to run it. Doesn't use aa batteries but it comes with the required 18650 which is more powerful than aa.
