We have 15 acres, I got these so our kids would be able to communicate with us when exploring the woods. They have been reliable regardless of weather and have a clear signal.

Good radios, bad earpieces
The radios and chargers work well. They work well with long distances too. They were easy to set up and use. But the earpieces are painful and do not work well. We had to purchase different earpieces because we could not hear anything through them. Once we had new earpieces, these worked very well for us.

These are great for the price. Clear sound. Haven't tested the range yet, but I don't need them to reach far. I plan on using for airsoft games. I bought ten units total. Very pleased with the quality.

Ok for the price
3 stars for the price, quantity, and battery life Less two stars for the earpieces (can’t hear if the room is not completely silent - which kind of defeats the point) and the fact that one stopped working on the first event. Down to 5 but they are good for outdoor use.

Fiancé say's these are great. The range is pretty amazing. When we tested them, he drove a few blocks down the road and they worked perfectly fine.
