I have bought these from the supermarket before, and they were not covered in liquid, but I opened the first pack from this order and they is slime?

These chestnuts are delicious. If you expect them to be "dry", then don't buy them. No chestnuts packaged in this manner from any place that I have tried are dry. They are not slimy and they are not covered in liquid; they are moist. Please people, I've seen comments that are truly ridiculous. Get out of your comfort zones and try them produced in other countries and you will see they are the same. Very good!! I highly recommend them.

Did they run out stock, I ordered 2 times they delivered 1 out of six to me , and missing delivery in second time

What is the sell by/best before date on them If I buy some now?

There is no sell//best before date on the package. I assume something hot and dry will last a long time, so no worry here.

Are they seriously asking 15£ for these, when you can get similar from Tesco at 1.12?!

They are normally £2.25 each in Tesco but happen to be on offer this year. £2.25 × 6 = 13.50 so at £15 Are a bit more expensive , but Tesco only sell them around Xmas and you can get them online all year round. I buy them to take back to Bulgaria where I live as we cannot get them over here and I am hot usually in the UK when they are available in Tesco

Gourmet chestnuts.

Tried these with a recipe with some sprouts and bacon for Christmas dinner. They seemed to go down a treat, but with so many flavours on the table, it was hard to distinguish. They are also good for snacking and a natural source of fibre. Being shelled and cooked they are ready to eat straight out of the bag. I bought the multi pack of 6 and they were quite expensive, I've seen them since a lot cheaper at the supermarket.
