I got this for my wife to use while she works on laundry mostly because she is in the laundry room. It is a small room and there is no place to put a speaker. This speaker actually works great because we hang it on the cabinet pulls and it just stays there without worry that it will fall. Battery life is pretty decent as we haven't really had to charge it other than when we took it out of the box.... must have around 20 hours of battery life because it will take my wife quite a while to spend 20 hours in the laundry room....This little speaker doesn't have much bass; which is understandable considering its small size. However JBL did a great job here because instead of trying to pump up the bass and make some terrible sounding bloated bass little speaker; they focused on the mid range and high end to deliver great clear sound for Genre's like Jazz & Classical. That makes this speaker perfect for my wife since those are her two most listened to Genre's! Addtionally its great with vocals so it works well for her podcasts too. Can't really complain overall, we were both blown away by how good this little speaker really is at what it does.

The sound quality is amazing, it's easy to connect to my smartphone and the volume is surprisingly loud. I've used it while snowboarding and plan to bring it with me on hiking and paddleboarding trips as well.Pros:The sound quality is fantastic - the clarity and balance of the audio is impressive for a portable speaker. While it's not a deal-breaker for me, some music genres may not sound as full-bodied as they would on a speaker with more bass. Overall, I highly recommend the JBL Clip 4 Portable Speaker to anyone in the market for a compact and high-quality speaker that is perfect for outdoor activities.
