HIGHCRAFT24 Inch Stainless Steel Braided Ice Maker Supply Line 2 Ft with Two 1/4" Fittings on Both Ends, No Lead

I tried to find a short water line at the local big box stores and the shortest one I could find was 6 feet long. This 2 foot hose was perfect since the water valve is directly behind the refrigerator, I didnt have to worry about too much line cooling up behind or beside the refrigerator.

I used this to be able to install an inline water filter and it was so easy for me to use. I like the fact that it won't kink or if does, I've not been able to do so. Another nice thing about them is that they are not heavy. I'd recommend this to anyone, they seem to be a long-lasting hose without any or much problems.

Well I needed it due my line on my compressor busted a few days before. It was exactly what I needed. Worked like a charm.

I should have took the advice of the last reviewer before me, Kotu, when I purchased this hose. Just like him, this hose had a very small leak at the junction of the nut. When I first received it, build quality looked great and installation was a breeze. Tightened everything and turned on my water valve for my fridge. I inspected all the connection points and there was no water, so I was quite the happy camper...I was sadly mistaken.With all the glowing reviews before his, I said "Hey, he probably had a faulty one and drew the short straw. I'll pick this up and I'll see right away if it is leaking or not. 20 or so people before him were happy, so maybe I'll be as well."I received and installed the hose on 12/5. I rechecked it the following day on 12/6 and all was dry. At this point, I thought I was in the clear. Unfortunately that was not the case. On 12/20 I noticed a puddle that formed on the other side of the wall of my fridge. I was shocked to see this and at the same time quite annoyed/upset. I immediately shut off the water and pulled out my fridge. I noticed that the hose, my floors, the back of the fridge and my drywall were all soaking wet.It was a slow leak, but over time, the water accumulated so much that it came out the other side. Between replacing the drywall, checking for mold, and repairing my hardwood floors that buckled up, saving a few bucks on hose is not worth it...lessons learned. I hope they fix these quality control issues, so no one else goes through what I went through.

My refrigerator water line would not reach the existing water connection in my new house. I bought this as a quick and easy extension to get it hooked up. It does what it says. No leaks on install. I will update if it leaks.
