Jiffy 4000-M Professional Clothes Steamer
I have owned several steamer irons (including the ridiculously expensive Laurastar). I decided to buy this steamer after I saw it in several clothing stores in London- and it turned out that those stores keep Jiffy handy for a reason. Firstly, Jiffy is a lot easier to use than the normal iron - and does not require any complicated assembly at all. You just have to screw on the metal rod (comes in 3 pieces) that holds the steamer head and then do the same with the hose- and it's easy enough without the supplied tool (which is conveniently held by magnets at the bottom of the device). In fact, I only noticed the latter after the assembly was done and just used it to check everything was screwed on tightly enough. The steamer rolls around easily on its four wheels and can be just left standing somewhere in the corner. It is much better at dealing with delicate fabrics than a standard steaming iron would be since it doesn't leave any streaks from the steam (which are impossible to remove, by the way, since the steam literally burns through the fabric), or make the fabric shiny from heat and pressure. The reason for this is that the steam comes out continuously and from a larger area than in the iron - so you get a little cloud instead of several strong streams that burn the fabric. It doesn't make the fabric wet either, so you can put the garment on straight away. At the same time, it gets rid of creases on wool and silk perfectly. The reason why I'm giving Jiffy 4 stars is that it does take its sweet time to heat- around 15 minutes when you put lukewarm water into the tank, slightly more if the water is cold. So you do need to plan a bit in advance, turn the steamer on "heat", then go away and do something else while it's getting ready. It's not a replacement for a conventional iron either, since it would be a bit cumbersome, for example, to press bed linen with it. It is perfect, however, for all those suits, coats and party dresses which could be potentially ruined by a normal iron. It is also very convenient to use on such garments since you simply have to hang the suit/dress on the rod that normally holds the steamer head and pass the steamer over it a couple of times- no need to spend half an hour trying to get all those sleeves and collars, and then realizing that you've just made more creases on the reverse. So overall, highly recommended. It will save a lot of time with delicate and difficult to iron garments, especially work-wear.

Best to use purified water!
First time to use a steamer and I loved it. Whatched a YouTube video first before trying it.

Garbage!
Garbage. If I could give it a negative number, I would. First, it takes forever to heat up. Then it spits water everywhere. I followed the instructions as stated, but nothing prevented the problem. Then after six months the heating element shorted out. Of course it would cost more to ship it back than the steamer is worth. Do yourself a favor. Stay away from this.
