PX3 PS3 & Xbox 360 Headset - EU

This is now my second pair of these headphones - they are super-easy to set up (I use them on a PC) - and the audio quality is just as good, if not better, than headphones of a much higher price range.The range of the wireless audio is absolutely bonkers - I can pretty much move around my office/home without any interference. I found that the only thing that would disrupt the signal is standing next to a turned on microwave.The on-desk device is a very low profile, with one box, and a single USB cable to the PC (and another to take in/out to charge the headset, but you can plug this directly into the PC to charge if this works better for your layout), and doesn't take up any room at all. Using on consoles requires a second cable to jack into the audio input.Overall, a fantastic product that works as intended with a fantastic audio quality, considering the price bracket!

UPDATE: Headphones are 6 years old and haven't been used much, but one of the ear pieces has snapped off! Stress fracture in the plastic, poor design, not impressed.Comfortable and good battery life, range is surprisingly good too (enough to work a couple of rooms away). Simple to use, includes a long charging cable so you can charge whilst using if needed (although this cable lacks strain relief as mine is fraying at both ends) and lots of adjustment in the mic, headband and earpieces.But I'm docking a star for two reasons: firstly whilst the microphone is clear the quality is not good enough for video voiceovers, I think it's because of compression for Bluetooth (so I've had to buy a desk mic that just plugs in the 3.5 mm socket). Secondly, the auto-off function can't be overridden, if the headset doesn't receive sound input for 5 minutes you get a few warning beeps and then it turns off, and pressing the buttons on the headset does nothing to stop it shutting off, which is most annoying (the only way to override is to get sound to play through them, so now I have a 4 minute recording with just a tiny bit of audio at the end playing on a loop in a separate media player)

I've had these now for 5 years! And to think they only cost me £22 on here!The only build quality issue I had is clips clips coming off that hold the headband foam in place, I've glued them back on.Still hold at least 7hrs of charge and have survived being twisted all over the place by a toddler.I'm after a new set which will probably be another pair of Turtle.Great product. Holds good charge, fits well and sounds great. Multiple ways to set it up. Works with all consoles and pc/TV.The cables are generously long too.

They immediately fell apart when I picked them up. Felt cheap and the edges were tatty and looked unfinished. The foam pulled apart from the top of the head band. I purchased another turtle beach from Argos after and there was a clear difference in these with lack of quality.

I purchased the PX3's about 3 months ago, after my X11's decided to break on me. They work great and i have had a blast using these on all sorts of games. However, why is it that the Xbox360 needs the chat cable lead where as the PS3 doesn't. I say this because as i started them up this morning, the microphone began to switch on and off in Xbox Live chat, and strange noises were noticeable. I've come to terms that the chat cable between the controller of headset itself has broken, after 3 months of usage!I did some searching for a replacement but in the end, i could only find 1 UK place that sells replacement leads (eBay). In my opinion, they should either include a spare lead, an improved lead (as these plugs are a bit flimsy) or at least make it identical to the PS3 where you don't need the lead to talk. These are wireless after all, correct?

I've had this headset about two weeks and from what I can tell it performs very well! I have tested the headset out on a computer, laptop and ps3 all of which have been very good when it comes to setting it up and talking to other people through it and hearing them. Excellent quality for a wireless headset I would recommend this product to anyone considering an affordable but good wireless headset.
