Mega Airport Amsterdam - Add on for FS 2004/FSX (PC CD)

Very impressive. Just like the real thing, which,when you think about it ,is the whole point.

I have loaded this onto FSX and the entire airport is covered in trees! I am unable to land or start at the airport due to this problem. Having searched on line it appears that a lot of people have this problem. It looks like you have to disable all your scenery and then reactivate one at a time to try and find which one is causing the problem.I am considering deleting it and throwing it in the bin.It would be good if a solution to this problem was included in the documentation that came with the game!

No complaints about this add on for fsx the airport is well laid out with good graphics and it doesn't eat to much memory

A very detailed airport with roads bridges and vehicles making it very realistic.You need a high spec computer to run it though. I have a i7 975 CPU @ 3.3GHz, GTX285 GPU, Win 7 64, & 12 GB RAM (2 years ago top of the range) plus NL2000 Scenery. FSX does struggle, particularly with the PMDG 737NGX only about 12fps and some stuttering particularly after landing and taxiing toward the terminals.Still worth it though even with the afore mentioned problems.You get a book with all the charts that you'll need for landing and taking off plus detailed airport terminal diagrams. I'll be getting a more powerful computer once the new Ivy bridge CPU's come out in a few months time, it'll be over clocked, so that should sort the minor problems out. FSX aircraft and most other add on aircraft run o.k. at this airport; but, if you have more sophisticated aircraft and a low end PC then you may need to reconsider.
