I bought this book a couple of months ago when I was in the middle of going through several different life events. I chose this book because I needed encouragement, I needed to be reminded of who I was as a Christian woman and who I was to God. It is actually amazing how this book seemed to nail each day on the head in terms of what I was experiencing in those 24 hours. I would wake up with a heavy heart and the devotional for that day matched perfectly with what I was experiencing. Throughout these 50 days of this devotional, I have found myself more at peace, more content, more eager to spend time with God and be a blessing to not only myself but to others. The person I was before I started this devotional and the person I am now is a total transformation. I am going to let other women in my family take turns with this devotional, so they can be reminded of their worth as well.

Recently separated after 21 years and every morning and evening devotion spoke right to my heart, exactly what I needed to hear every day. I was sad when I finished because I loved it so much. Would highly recommended for anyone going through a difficult time.

I like that there is a morning devotion and night suggestion. Love this author and the recent book "Forgiving what you can't forget" Good Boundaries and Goodbyes are both excellent material for personal use. I have several of her books that I am blessed to have in my possession.
