iRobot 2000 mAh NiMH Battery for Braava 380t and Mint 5200

This doesn't work for old Mint model 4200 nor 4200A. Lots of people are saying it does for Mint on this review, so I bought one, but I guess my Mints (I have two.) are too old. So, old Mint owners, be careful and check what model you have. Or look at the connecting part of your Mint battery. This battery has 5-pin(? I don't know how to call it.) connecting part as you can see in the product picture, but my old Mint's battery has only 4-pin(?) connecting part. I have to return this battery but I didn't check it well myself before buying, so I'm giving 4 stars not to blame the product.

I bought this rechargeable replacement battery for my Brava 380T iRobot floor cleaner because the originally battery eventually stopped holding a charge. Since there were no directions as to how to install, I watched a youtuube video to be sure I installed it correctly. It was really easy to do. Now my iRobot runs just as long as it did when it was new and takes the same amount of time to recharge in the cradle with this new battery. It’s like I have a new iRobot again.

I bought this replacement battery because the original in my Braava 380 lasted less that 18 months. I decided to try a factory replacement, which is 4 times more costly than knock-offs. It had better last this time! My iRobot is older and used several times/week and has never run out of charge before the job was done. Love both products, and they work well, so hope this new battery lasts more than 18 months. If not...there are some really good competitors out there (hint, hint)NOTE: 08/05/22 This battery now dead, DO NOT BUY

I need to replace the old battery in my mint 5200 plus (Braave 380 the new name). Buying directly from Irobot will cost $49 and the customer rep. tried to discourage me to buy from Amazon, claiming the authenticity issue and warranty issue. So I was a bit hesitant, but bought it on Amazon based on the positive reviews. When I received it, I felt totally relieved as the battery had an irobot sticker, identical to the old battery I have. Plus, the warranty on battery by Irobot is only 6 months, and it is unlikely that the battery will fail in 6 months. So, this is really a great deal on Amazon.

Bought my iRobot Braava 380 in 2013, so it was no surprise that it needed a new battery. I was glad it was easy to get and not too expensive-compared to buying a whole new system. Battery was very easy to change as well. Went with this battery because I didn’t trust the less expensive ones. Have used the unit once since changing the battery and as expected it had plenty of charge.

Brava was not holding charge so instead of buying another one, I thought I’d just buy a battery. Glad I did because that’s all it needed. We use Brava as much as we use Roomba a lot so I guess the original battery just needed to be replaced. Made my Brava like new again. In fact, runs longer than original battery did.

Battery works like a charm. Fit my mint sweeper/mopper.

Just want to confirm it is an OEM part, came in iRobot box and the battery has the iRobot sticker on it so seems as genuine as it gets.

I just received my battery for my iRobot Braava. Although more expensive than others, this is clearly marked for use with IRobot. I had previously purchased a cheaper battery, which gave me nothing but trouble and didn’t last very long. I was constantly getting the beeping noise when charging. This one charged quickly and no noise. I recommend. Easy to install.
