I bought this to use as a mold release with polycraft gp-3481-f silicon rubber. Ended up with a square of silicon with my part encapsulated. I have not used this product for its proper use so my rating is not valid.

not suitable for the job
I purchased the "Polycraft GP-3481F RTV Silicone Mould Making Rubber 1.1Kg Kit" and purchased this as Amazon states "commonly bought together" so thought this was the release agent for this mold, it is not! Anybody intending to purchase this for the mold release please don't buy! Robert from MB Fibreglass emailed me regarding this and suggested petroleum jelly to go with the silicone mold I bought rather than this particular product. As such I am editing this review to reflect that.
