Rago Style 1361 - Open Bottom Girdle Firm Shaping

It's a little tight but that's how it's supposed to fit because it's a girdle. It's actually not all that uncomfortable; I wore it through dinner and didn't feel the overwhelming need to take it off. It's very sturdy and well made and looks really cute on.

I am a size 10/12 with a bit of a tummy. I ordered XXL and it is TIGHT. I mean it does the job, but breathing is optional. lol

I loved it, and received it within a few days of placing my order. However, I wear a large and somehow I ordered a x-large by mistake and had to return it. The item was as exactly as expected - the great quality that Rago is known for.

I only gave it three stars because it looks so good BUT it is WAY small! I bought this more as lingerie than as a shaper. I'm rather small (size 2, 5'3", 120 lbs. muscular build, 35-25-35). The size small was impossible to even begin to pull on. The size chart says size small fits 26-27" waist and 36.5-37.5 hip…I should have easily fit into those measurements, but not at all. I returned it. I'm considering reordering in a size large to see if that fits on me. Beautiful design if I could have put it on.

i do a lot of lingerie modeling and this gets raves for fit, style and total femininity. Love it!

I am a bigger girl with a 44 inch waist and the size 8 was a tiny bit large. The next size down would have probably been fine. It was longer than I expected but for me that was great. I am 5' 10' so being able to wear it a little higher on the waist without it riding up over the tush was nice. The garter clips work great and are easy to use. I would buy another one in a heart beat.

I ordered a black 1361 and after 3rd time on the garter strap broke. I want to order a few so I won’t run into a problem down the road. I looked on amazon but they are 6-8 weeks out. Can you help?

Great to hold thigh high stockings up. Has side zipper, which is nice & open in the crotch area. So doesn't dig into your thighs like the pant leg ones.

Definitely size up. I should've fit a 2x according to the chart, but I was more of a 3x! Just glad I decided to go with my instinct and buy a 3x. It rolled a bit at the top, but the mesh is strong and of good quality otherwise.

This is a nicely made and pretty article. But it is made smaller than one's normally expected size.

Unfortunately, after ordering this for my elderly Grandmother, and finding it WAY TOO SMALL, we were unable to return it. It was taken out of the packaging, but not actually on her body. She is 107 pounds, and I only ordered the medium because I thought that if it was a little big, we could alter it. She's worn open girdles to hold up her stockings for years, and finds them hard to find now. She's on a fixed income, and if I ordered her another one in a larger size, she will be out almost $140 for an item she used to find for $40. I'm also unsure if a larger size would even fit her, as the medium was so incredibly small.

Really happy. Ordered as wedding underwear. Really comfortable and 1950s sexy! Research online what your size should be. Don't guess! This is the real deal in shapewear. Go to American shapewear online to try work out your size, measure your hips and waist properly. Absolutely delighted with this item, really high quality. Fit from 2 inches above the belly button to just below the bum. Great hold but not to the extent that it was uncomfortable like some shapewear. The top of it did not roll down with wear, which some other big brands do! The stocking clips were really strong so hold ups not necessary. Normal stockings will suffice! Perfect hold for someone self conscious of belly... Gave me a perfect flat stomach!

Thanks for asking ,but the girdle is lovely, my wife tells me. I don't share it with her as I've grown out of it!
