🔍 Unleash the potential of shape memory magic!
This package includes two 5-foot pieces of 1mm nitinol shape memory wire, designed for research and educational purposes. The wire can revert to its original shape when heated above 40°C, making it ideal for various engineering and medical applications. Its unique properties include wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and high elasticity, ensuring it meets the demands of any experimental setup.

Does not work like nitinol
What waste of my money and time.

If you're making an antenna
This worked great for building a diy antenna, it's a bit difficult to work with so make sure you have a decent cutter and a good way to crimp into place.

Does not act like nitenol
The pieces I recieved are like tempered steel. Very springy and difficult to bend. However, when bent within the requisite temperature range they do NOT return to the original shape when heated or cooled, as real nitenol should.

Great NiTi Wires!
Great NiTi wire! I like that it loses its strength when exposed to temperatures below 0 degrees Centigrade to -40℃, and it's like a solder wire when it's already at -4 to -7℃. The wire is high grade, light, and has a dark shiny, pewter-like color with a high superstrength sprig-like feature. What a bargain!

Will not work as nitinol memory wire should. Cannot be retrained
The wire comes "pre-trained" i.e. straight and cannot be manipulated or bent as the video suggests or other nitinol wires do. You can heat it up and retrain it into a different shape and it will hold that shape but again, if you try to bend it in this new shape it will simply bounce back once you let go. It's too thick and strong to be used as an experiment demo.

Great price for good Nitinol samples
I got this demo of some "space age" materials in STEM class. 2X the samples you can buy of US-made materials. Remarkablely springy material. It was fun to experiment with this exotic wire.

Exactly as described
Perfect for my project. Making antennas.

Does not work
This does not work. I am familiar with nitinol wire and this does not work. Junk.
