I have used household cleaners to clean our cars ever since I can remember. Then a friend, our neighborhood's avid "car guy," saw me cleaning our leather car seats with dishwashing liquid and told me that the dishwashing liquid I was using would dry and crack the leather over time, and he recommended this stuff by its brand name. I stopped using the soap and ordered a bottle of Meguiar's the same week. It does go on and wipe off without the soapy bubbles and seems right for its purpose. I keep the bottle in my trunk with a cotton rag and use it as needed. Knowing it's made for the purpose I'm using it for makes it a good value. It's good for the dash, the doors, and the console, too.

Meguiar's makes the best car products in my opinion. This interior vinyl, plastic detailer works great on the dashboard and doors. Cleans without the artificial shine. Makes it look new again.
