I needed a new PDF program for work purposes and did not want to pay loads of money on the more well-known product on the market and this one had good reviews so thought I'd give it a go. Loading the program was easy, but finding how to use the program, not so, it needs a bit of getting used to.I wanted a program where I could create pdf's, this function is easy to do, but also I needed to import and export documents from technical specifications. Every now and then I would go into the program to find out how to do this and failed, until yesterday when I finally had a breakthrough and found the functions I needed in the program. It's like they say "once you know how to do something, it's easy". I've even found that I can put a jpeg or scanned file straight into the document without having to pdf it first.Ease of use, initially I would probably give it 2 stars, but now I've found the functions that I need it is quite easy.To import documents - on the lefthand side of the page and under the main toolbar you have "pages" and then folders under that, click downward arrow and click the format of document you want to include and it brings up a box. Opposite the file you have another box Value with 3 small red dashes, click on them and find the file you wish to import and then where you want to insert the document.Export - easy enough, click the page, then click the red cross again under the "pages" icon and delete.The program is excellent value for money and once you learn how to edit documents it's easy to use.

Hardly "Perfect! " Combined files into one pdf to upload to self publishers and the Perfect PDF 9 system kept crashing and therefore unable to upload anything! Seriously - don't bother and save your money!!! Doesn't really deserve one star due to the stress and hassle it's caused me.

Great for my purchase reason of editing pdf documents.It would have been good be able to convert back to Word but if this is possibleI could not see how.

Primary reason for buying this was to protect PDF's. Perfect PDF 9 does everything else I would want it to just as well as another well known PDF program, but the protection function I find to be confusing and quite often it either doesn't work or more often than not, if I set it to be encrypted for editing / read only, it starts asking for the password just to view... No idea why as I can repeat the process again and the second time it works fine!

OK and powerful, but I find it very complicated to use - but I find my cell phone very complicated as well.

--- After having done some testing of "Perfect PDF 9", I conclude that it deserves the highest ranking. The program includes much more features than may be needed by a non-professional user, like myself. It is easy to convert a Microsoft Office file to PDF format. Creating a PDF file using a scanner can be done with no difficulties. One can even save in PDF format pages from internet sites.--- I successfully carried out a few simple document modifications. According to the manual, complex editorial operations are also possible.--- The manual accessible in the program window is very comprehensive. Understandably, it is a protected document. However, it would be nice to copy some parts of it to the clip-board and paste them in a user's file. In conclusion, I am happy to have purchased two copies of the article, for my two computers.

I bought this hoping it would replace my Adobe Acrobat which is either unavailable or ridiculously priced. I have to put documents together from photos,xl and word. It will link all the files together but has no provision to shrink the files once assembled which was one of the main purposes. The software will not do this so documents were therefore far to large to e mail sensibly. Not impressed at all. I have wasted my money.

Easy to use, this programme did all I wanted: turn word docs. into PDF and allow them to be uploaded on Kindle Textbook Creator. Editing a page of a PDF is easy with 'Perfect PDF 9 Premium' but I have not discovered how to shift material from one page to another (mea culpa or maybe you cannot do this).

I purchased this software to avoid being nickle and dime'd by those in the money grab business. I had a lot to learn and am justgetting started. It was a ****h to install - after that, it's clear sailing. Learn your way around before judging. Much of my problem wasWindows 10 lack of experience.Today is 3/13/2017, still happy with Perfect PDF 9. After finishing taxes using Turbo Tax, I went to print everything for viewing.PDF 9 was invoked automatically. I then used PDF 9 for viewing and printing and still more clear sailing. Add another star!

I had problems with my purchase of Perfect PDF 9 Premium through Amazon from the very beginning. First of all, I ordered a hard copy of the product and found that it would arrive 6 weeks later because it was being shipped from India. Three weeks later, I received an email telling me there were problems shipping the product and instructing me to download the same product and providing me with a product key to activate the product. When I downloaded the product, I ended up with numerous files, but no .exe file, and no instructions. When I finally figured out how to install the product, it asked for my activation key. I entered the key provided in the email and was told it had already been used. I now had no usable product, and no expectation the hard copy would ever be delivered from India. I removed this product from my computer because it was unusable, and I now suspect it was a scam from the beginning. I was very disappointed to say the least. Thankfully, Amazon refunded my purchase, even though I had nothing to return.

Not user friendly, couldn't edit documents.

Eine Software, die es evtl. gut gemeint hat. Mir sind die Menüleisten absolut unübersichtlich, viel zu voll gestopft mit meist unverständlichen Benennungen. Wer schreibt bloß sowas???? Ein Menü soll für den unvoreingenommenen arglosen Anwender und nicht nur Freaks verstehbar sein. Das, was das Programm soll, nämlich eine beliebige PDF-Datei öffnen, um sie zu bearbeiten (eine Seite herauslöschen, Überschriften abändern, Zeilen umstellen usw. und letztlich so speichern), ist mir bis auf ein einziges Mal nicht gelungen, allerdings erst nachdem ich zig Klicks gemacht hatte. Ein simples Öffnen aus einem schlichten Randmenü wie z.B. bei WORD gibt es dort nicht; fehlt einfach! Jene Datei wurde verschämt am rechten Rand schlaff grau dargestellt, sodass ein anständiges Arbeiten allein schon optisch erschwert war. Ein zweites Mal ist mir ein Öffnen nicht mehr gelungen. Werde das Teil noch heute in den Schredder stecken und deinstallieren. Meine Zeit ist mir zu schade, als stundenlang mich da durchzuwühlen, falls es doch irgendwie gelingen könnte. Das schöne Geld ... !
