Q: How long should i leave this on if i was to purchase it? and would i be able to use purple shampoo on top of this? would it make it darker or...?

It's pretty dark. I use it watered down with a white conditioner. I don't think you would benefit from using a purple shampoo as well. It's not really purple based ( which is why it's so good) it's a true neutral grey. Have a look on YouTube there are a few tutorials for this product ( that's how I found it )

Q: How much do you use ? The whole tube?

I’m a male. I use about as much of this each time I use it as I would use ordinary conditioner when I wash my hair (that’s every day). I use The Makki colour once per week and so the tube typically will last about 4 - 5 months. I would guess that a female with long hair would use 4 or 5 times more than I do per session and therefore if you use it once per week (which is adequate in my opinion) you would use a tube every 4 or 5 weeks. You may find that you need less but however much you need, if you mix it in a small dish with conditioner (use a cotton bud to do the mixing) you will find it applies much more easily and even though it’s slightly diluted, I can’t tell the difference in resulting hair colour between mixed and non mixed. I’ve been using it for several years and I can recommend it. I hope this helps.

Q: Is it drying for your hair?

I used a different colour. I had no problems with drying hair out any more than any other hair colours. From my experience, I would always recommend treatment conditioner after using colouring products. I would highly recommend this brand of semi permanent hair colour.
