Does this item let light in?

Hello Paula:I bought this for my nephew, it does cover the whole aye not leaving and space for light in, he is about 5 years old. I'mNot sure if you are buying it for someone older. I hope this helps you.

I would not purchase that. I bet it is waterproof because it sticks on so tight. But when you take it off it feels like your skin comes off with it.
