Disney Zurg Glow-in-The-Dark Blaster

This is the first blaster we've purchased for the kids that has a powerful enough blaster that it is fun to use yet not so powerful that it will break your indoor decor. The pull handle needs to be pulled out all the way and then returned to it's original position before it shoots and that may be why some people have trouble with the shooting mechanism. Additionally, the batteries that make it light up and glow in the dark are located in the yellow ridged top part of the gun. There is 1 screw that needs to be removed through the long hole on the top and 2 screws to be removed from the angled side holes in order to replace the batteries. If our 6 year old gets tired of pulling it out/in for shooting, I usually help him with it. The adults in our family have had as much fun using this blaster as the kids shooting targets on the wall. We purchased one as a gift directly from Disney. It was so much fun that we have now purchased another one through Amazon for our house (Amazon has faster delivery - same price once you add shipping/tax).

Little disappointed with the fake rotating knob not doing anything other than for aesthetics. Blaster only makes two different sounds and they rotate each time you press the trigger. I was under the impression the knob would change the sound when I purchased this but that was not the case. The balls shoot with enough power to throw the balls a pretty good distance and works well indoors as not to be so strong that something will get broken.

This is a fun, colorful blaster gun that my 3-year old has enjoyed quite a bit since he received it. It’s easier to pull back and charge than some of his Nerf guns. However, right out of the box it has been inconsistent in terms of actually shooting. About 20% of the time, the gun sounds like it fires but the ball stays put. As a parent, it’s frustrating that the product doesn’t work very well, but my kid carries it around with him everywhere. You win again, Disney.

I couldn’t beat this price anywhere. I got free shipping and was delivered in tact and as advertised.

This was bought for our grandson and while he enjoys it, it fails to shoot the balls out more times than it does shoot.

This toy blaster is the best one on earth,I do not dislike anything! It blasts really far away

My 4 year old LOVES this. It’s easy for him to use and I feel like it’s safer than the nerf gun that was gifted to him by someone else.

This was an advance purchase for the Magic King's Day gift, acquired in October and open until January 5th. the (shooting) cannon mechanism did not work at all! Having passed the return period my son ran out of his kings day toy because of this manufacturing defect. It is a very difficult operation for a child up to 4 years old and in our case a totally OUT-OF-ORDER product. Pretty disappointing surprise since ZURG toy was the most expected for my son that day, and was finally useless. (Hope I can upload a video afterwards)
