Great for donation

After opening a can you're typically greeted with a layer of fat. Be not afraid of the fat, it holds flavour. As for "heating" I just mash it with a fork and nuke it in the microwave for a minute. After it comes out it tastes like fairly normal ground beef, maybe a bit saltier, add your normal spices and it's good to go. Saves a ton of time and cleanup of the stove/pans.Definitely doesn't have that corned beef taste that I was afraid it would. That being said, I strongly believe that canned chicken/fish are years ahead of canned beef in terms of flavour of the can vs normal.

Good quality, only (2) ingredients; beef & salt. The negative would be the price. After making the purchase, we found the exact same product at our local Walmart on the shelf for $8.82 per can. Not too far from half the price of what we paid here. We got what we paid for, we’ll certainly keep it.

I haven't opened and tried the ground beef yet, because I'm storing it away "just in case." But the other Keystone products I've tried, roast beef and chicken, have been very good quality. All natural ingredients. Nothing but meat and the salt for the preservative. The main thing I'm very happy about is that every can came in perfect condition and securely packed with thin layers of foam cushioning and an outer box to protect the inner box. I was expecting to be disappointed, because every time I've ordered canned goods for the past year, half of the cans have come with major dents...like someone purposefully through them on the floor in an attempt to dent them. This has been the case with all big box stores I've ordered from. So it was greatly appreciated when these arrived in perfect condition. I would definitely order from this company again.

This product describes the use as “long term storage” but every can arrived with dents on the sides and top. Typical idea of long term storage is the need to not have dented cans. I would think 3 or 4 cans dented but not all 12. I’m disappointed.
