Covelin Women's Medium Retro Sling Shoulder Bag from, Soft Faux Leather Handbag

I ordered this purse in the dark army green color, which is absolutely beautiful. Although the bag has a hobo type shape, it does hold it’s form very well (not too slouchy like a fabric bag). I liked the finish on my bag and think that the slight sheen it has made it look like it was worth much more than I paid for it. The compartments are very roomy, two on the outside and two zipper pockets on the inside. It is big enough for an iPad mini and multiple other items. I like the fact that the shoulder strap is wide and adjustable so you can wear it on your shoulder or as a crossbody. My bag did have an odor when I got it, though. It was packaged in plastic tightly wrapped and I thought once I aired it out it would improve, which was true. I also put a charcoal shoe liner inside and also added two dryer sheets to the inside. I left the purse open and after 8 hours the odor is basically gone. The odor alone would not prevent me from keeping this purse, though, I love it.

Medium size purse with room and designed nicely. Bought the black version; it’s made of vegan leather and mine looks very nice, had no smell, & stitching is great. Two outer pockets hold my keys, and my cell phone with room to spare. I was hoping for room inside to carry a personal water bottle and it will (partly because it has a flat bottom). In fact I put a pair of regular slip-on shoes inside when visiting a friend last night instead of socks. The lining, if “plastic” is flexible high-end textured with pattern with look & strength of fabric but also waterproof! I was not sure I would like the wide shoulder strap but it is so comfortable and does not slide off the shoulder so I count it a plus! I panicked when it first arrived as all the zippers were gapped in a section ... quickly learned they are “self-healing”. Trying to convince myself it’s not too selfish to buy another ... in navy.

I have purchased this purse before and loved it. But I inadvertently tore the lining so decided to see if it was still available. And, yay, it was! For me this is the perfect size as I don't like big or real small purses. The two outside zip pockets are nice, although the slanted one can only hold a pen and perhaps some tissue. I really like the interior as there is a nice-sized side zippered pocket and a large zippered picket that divides the interior compartment in two. It really holds a lot for its size. It doesn't fall over if set beside a chair. My only complaint is that with my old purse my phone would fit in one of the two side pockets that are sewn into one of the outside walls of the interior compartment. This time both of the those pockets are now too narrow for my phone. Boo Hoo. Thus a 4 instead of a 5 star rating.

Don’t buy!!!! Fishy smell that won’t go away. Tried baking soda, vinegar wash with laundry soap, airing out, had to toss it.

This purse is exactly the size I wanted. The measurements in the ad & are correct. The color in the photo happens to match my monitor coloring exactly right. It's got just enough design, like the slanted zipper in the front that makes it look VERY simple & classy. There are many divider pockets inside to help you organize your smaller things & the longer items. I can keep everything organized perfectly well. I bought 3 of these purses in different colors and I LOVE THEM. I especially like the strap & the way it's made. The strap adjusts and it's nice & soft.

I was so excited to receive this bag. It looks like high quality leather; has the perfect number of pockets; is soft, yet has a bottom that allows the bag to stand up; it's not too big, yet big enough that you can easily find things; and it looks like a bag that would cost 4 times the price... UNTIL... you see the underside of the strap. Rather than the strap being all PU "leather", only the top side is. The underside is some kind of cheap looking canvas fabric that is very scratchy on a bare shoulder and cheapens the look of the bag. The mixed material on the strap was not mentioned in the description. I don't understand why they would cheapen the look of such a beautiful bag in this manner. I tried to get past this flaw, but this feature made the bag both uncomfortable and unattractive. It seems like over time, the material would begin to fray and need to be cleaned. The rest of the bag can be wiped with a damp cloth, but I have no idea how you would clean the underside of the strap. It was a heartbreaker to send this otherwise perfect bag back, but sadly the search for the perfect black bag continues.

I love this purse! It is made so well. The design is perfect for me. The compartments are just right.I must admit I love the smell of leather.

It looks just like its picture but SMELLS. I know feaux leather had the potential, but GOD. So disappointing…. Returning tomorrow
