I ignored the reviews and decided to buy two as hospital and quarantine tanks for my 55 gallon tank.Set up the first one to check it out properly and it's already leaking. I've been doing this for 30 plus years and never have I seen something so horribly made. 1. The filter is useless. Just a piece of cotton that lays in a little section at the top. The flow is weak and it hardly has any movement to it, it won't do any good as there's no other filter media to help the process. Might as well stick a paper towel in there. The set up of the filter makes me believe it will just fall apart at any second as it's not held together very well. Cheap parts. Also found plastic shreds stuck in the filter "media". 2. There's glue EVERYWHERE on the inside and outside. I swear I can even see someone's fingerprint in it. 3. There's chips out of the plastic corners. Not adding water to anything that could explode with the weight of the water. 4. Scratches in the glass and plastic all over it. Overall, I wouldn't even give it one star. I wouldn't pay $5 for this thing. I wouldn't trust it with my healthy fish, much less any new fish being quarantined or sick fish from my big tank. Absolutely worth it to spend a little more, even if it's acrylic, on a known brand name. They all have their issues but this is one of the cheapest made displays I've ever seen and the company should be ashamed that they're even charging as much as they are for a product that doesn't work, will break within weeks or days, and could kill the very fish it's supposed to protect. I'm in shock they even call the filter it comes with a filter at all honestly. Useless. Oh, and you can take the lid off to clean properly. That's a no from me. I included several photos of the defects in both tanks I purchased.

This is amazing

It's a good fish tank for small fish. The filtration system is that great. It comes with a non-charcoal filter that I replaced with a charcoal one. My water clouds up to easily. I even use the food that is supposed to leave less cloudiness. Even after I change out the water, it clouds up in a few days. I only have 1 Betta in it, so it's not waste. That's the only reason I gave it a 4.

I like the small compact size of this tank. It comes with a filter, and lights and it is glass. However, it is so hard to clean out. My beta loved to play in the filter and the lights seemed to do a good job heating the water, but when it came to cleaning time, wow it was so challenging. The top does not come off and so you have to get your hand inside and scrape the glass sides and there is not much room for that. I have smaller hands and I even found that challenging. I have put the tank away for now as it is winter here and I needed a heater for the beta and there was no room to put a heater. I like it but would not order another one because of the cleaning issues.It did come very well packaged and protected and it is very beautiful with all the different light settings. there are several different colors to choose from.

BEWARE CUSTOMERS! If something like the pump goes out in these tanks, they will not send you a replacement or offer any replacement parts. It's then become another thing that goes in our landfills. I will never buy from them again. I have tried to resolve this with them but they said they didn't have any replacements pumps, as mine went bad. I own two of their tanks too. Very very disappointed and will never do business with them again.
