I put this Hygger filter in a 5-gallon nano tank and wow. I had algae and cloudy water, and within two days the tank was beautifully clear again. I can literally see the back wall of the tank now. The flow is gentle enough for a small tank but still very effective. It doesn’t stress the fish and there’s no strong current, just clean, clear water. It’s also quiet, easy to set up, and fits perfectly in a nano tank. This filter actually does what it’s supposed to do instead of just taking up space. If you’re dealing with algae or cloudy water in a small tank, this one works fast. I’d absolutely buy it again.

I have this filter for 3 days now and everything is working perfectly! The water is crystal clear and you can choose the water flow. the flow is pretty strong ngl but the lightest level is ok for my 6 gallon and apparently my Betta loves it ! It doesn’t make any noise, all I can hear is the “”waterfall”. It is super worth it

I have two of these installed in each corner of my 20 gallon and it fits the aesthetic and the filtration the needs, all without taking up too much space.

The filter was working great for about 2 months or so. I disconnected the filter and put it away wrapped in its original packing until I got another aquarium which was about month out two later. To my surprise the filter is no longer working. I love hygger products, but this was disappointing.

Updated.....seller did reach out to me about not being satisfied with the product. They offered me a replacement for the size step above. Product received in timely manner. Uses the product for a week or so. Unfortunately, the same issue arrived even with the bigger filter. Works great for a few days, then loses its power and efficiency. I tried giving this product a second chance. It's just not worth it, and I suggest spending a little extra on another type. Purchased this for a 8 gal nano tank. Other reviews stated that it was too much circulation in the tank so to go smaller. This filter pumped well for the first two days. Now barely pushing any waves. Had to add my side filter back on too keep the tank clean. Also ordered the filters separately for this filter. After waiting for a month, I finally canceled those.

This worked so well for my 3 gallon tank that I bought another one for a 6 gallon that my husband is setting up. It pretty quiet, sticks on great to the side of the tank and the current is just what I was looking for. I was happy I could find a small submersible filter that had a biomedia compartment. Most small filters only have carbon and mechanical filter options. My only complaints are that it can be a bit difficult to rinse the filter media off because it suctions so well to the glass and the bubbler part of the filter doesn't work. Over all I am very happy with it.

Works great in 5 gallon tank, turned up on rock n roll pump fully submersed in the water and air turned all the way up.. or should I say valve fully open. Filters great for two gold fish.

I wanted a filter for my tank that could be put in and removed with a low clearance (we have a shelf almost directly above the tank with an attached light on the bottom of the shelf). This filter did the job. With hangover the side filters, I couldn't get them out to clean easily (it's a 20 gallon tank). This stays to the back corner, out of the way and the noise level is fine - all dependant on your water level as far as the splashing sound. Motor sound we not bad at all. The suction power is definitely not lacking. Many times I had to use a knife just to pry the edge of a suction off the glass wall to get it off. Better to have better suction than not! This was so easy to clean and kept the water clean. I loved the adjustable water flower at the top and the ability to have more bubbles/air go in, or less. The 'rain arm' feature was nice as well. I would definitely recommend this filter for all it brings and all the boxes it checks off. It was a good value (it's still running well over a year later) and is functioning how one would hope and expect!

Perfect little corner filter with good water flow. Right now I have this running in a 10 Gal but I could easily see this filter run up to a 20 Gal. Id recommend it

The filter seems good but amazon shipped me a 115V product which isn't compatible to the UAE's 220-240V electrical supply, I had to purchase a step down converter on top of this filter which is an additional unit running, which makes it inefficient and costs me more to operate it.

THIS MODEL WAS NEEDED TO PERFORM IN A LARGER TANK AND OUR OTHER UNITS COULD NOT MATCH IT'S FUNCTION.

Quiet. Can’t adjust flow, but can adjust direction of flow. Would purchase for another tank.

I did not receive a filter cartridge and filter foam with the filter. Am I expected to buy them separately? If yes, thats very bad. Cartridge and foam should be included as its useless without them. If they are missed out, how do I receive them?
