Universal Knife Guard Blade Protector - 3 Piece Set - 3 Sizes

When I bought some new sharp knives I wanted a way of keeping our hands safe when we went in the drawer. This has done the job perfectly. As soon as I have finished with a knife, it gets cleaned and put back in its sheath. The way the sheath is designed minimises the risk of slicing yourself as you put the knife in - just put the part of the blade nearest the handle in first and then press it into place. It is made of strong plastic and grips the knife well, and there is no risk of the knife sliding out again into the drawer. I've been using them for several months now, and they are great.

Previous knife guards we have owned have been quite basic: a sort of folded over plastic all the way along. This meant that knives could be inserted from either end, but it was too easy to prick yourself if you didn't get the tip of the blade at exactly the right spot. These guards are much better designed. Knives are inserted from one end only and the opening has little flaps like turned-up lapels to keep your fingers safe as you insert the blade and gives a bigger target for insertion. There is dimpling on the plastic to give you a better grip.The only negative is a small one that the guards are somewhat chunkier than our older ones, so they take up a little more space in the knife drawer - still 5 stars, though.

Great idea instead of a knife block, good fit, robust and flexible enough to fit. Will prevent cutting your self in the cutlery tray also!

bought for accompany some expensive knives, and pleased with these guards. It is very easy to slip the knife in and out, and they fit into the drawer. And most importantly, they do protect the blades!

These knife guards are fantastic and give me peace of mind with young children around (however they are placed in a drawer out of arms reach). Robust, stylish and the colours are nice.

Does the job, but somehow seems to scratch the blades? Not even sure how that’s possible!I switched to Zwilling blade covers, which are easier to fit, and don’t scratch.

Fits on all my main knives, stops them dulling in the drawer. Does what it’s supposed to really. Been using over a month and no sign of wear

I have these on all of my knives. The knives are easy to remove and reinsert. The covers keep the knives from getting damaged in the kitchen drawer. Highly recommend.
