Does not seat in the electrical socket deep enough to allow the safety interface to work.
Besides the bulb being 1 &3/8" longer than the original bulb, the electrical connection pins were slightly longer than the original bulb. This made it almost impossible to insert into the receptacle and rotate the assembly into the FASTEN position. After much difficulty in rotation, the excessive pin length prevented the safety interlock from turning on the bulb. Put back in the original bulb, easily rotated the unit and the light came on.Being an electrical engineer, this bulb is not manufactured to the proper specification at the electrical connection. I could have trimmed off a very little amount on the pins and it might have worked, but I returned it and purchased from a more reliable source.

Bulb didn't work - doesn't appear to be a proper OEM replacement. Complete junk. Do not buy.

Don’t Buy for AprilAire UV Light System
This is a knock off bulb that does not work in the AprilAire UV Light System. It has the same product code so don’t fall for it. Go through Field Controls for the correct bulb. I would have given it 0 stars if I could have.
