Product description The pads on these environmentally friendly strips are prepared as a non bleed system therefore the resultant colour change remains far longer and readable until the pad is dry. Each strip is long enough to protect the user from the test solution as the test pads are at the extreme end of the strip. For accurate pH readings, these strips use 3 different indicator pads and the colours on the enclosed colour chart match the colour and position of each pad on the strip. This allows these strips to provide a rapid method of measuring the pH of a solution while producing high quality results each time. Pack of 100 strips Directions 1. Dip the strip into the solution to be tested, ensuring the test pads at the extreme end of the strip are fully immersed. 2. Remove the strip and compare the color change on the strip to the color chart provided. 3. The color on the strip will match one of the colors on the chart, indicating the pH level of the solution. 4. Use the pH reading for your intended purpose, such as adjusting the pH of pool water or understanding the acidity/alkalinity of a solution. Review: less than accurate - The Johnson strips read out on the low side. To get a more accurate reading I have to leave the strip to soak up the sample for a minute or two instead of the 40 second advice time given on the box. I base my comment on having used Phion strips previously and on a liquid test solution I used in the past. Our tap water is 7.5 but these strips read at about 6 unless left to soak for a few minutes when they do read close enough. Review: Excellent - These test strips are very easy to use and come with instructions. Its definitely good value for money as there are a lot of strips inside. I used them to test the ph balance in my hair products.
