Excellent product, easy to apply.
I used the "Fire cement" grouting to completely renew the seals between the flu pipe and the Morso wood-burning stove. The substance is the consistency of double cream and spreads easily and evenly from the canister when using the typical applicator rigging. It remains semi-liquid whilst cold and can be spread into the crevices between flu pipe and stove until it is well packed. For best effect, thoroughly scrape out all the old grouting and moisten the receiving surfaces with a wet paper cloth. Finish off by passing over with a knife so as to achieve an aesthetically uniform appearance. Then light the stove and as the heat increases the "fire cement" dries and solidifies over a period of 4 hours, initially expanding (if well packed) in a uniform bulge. The black colour fully blends in with the typical wrought iron stove. Excellent product.

Good stuff
Works well. I used it to repoint baby bricks at the back of the fire. Sprayed the bricks with water first to dampen. I then used a pair of rubber gloves and my hands and put the stuff in that way as I found this easier. I then lit a SMALL fire on the floor of the fireplace (took the grate out etc) so that the cement could cure slowly. Kept a small fire going for a few hours until the cement was really hard. I then lit a normal fire. Very pleased with the result.

Great product
Easy to use, second time I bought it. Just make sure you clean contact areas before you use it.

It works but be careful of the sell by date. I think it was starting to go off when I used it as it wasn't too happy coming out of the cartridge gun and ended up blocking and then splitting the nozzle. Maybe worth buying from a shop instead.

Very good stuff.
After a visit from a chimney sweep, we were advised that or stove flu pipe was not properly sealed. Purchased this cement and carried out the repair. This suited the job well being a black cement that blends in with the pipe. Also used it to repair several broken fire bricks in the stove that had already been cemented in but had fallen out - this time they are very solid. The price is very good.

Good, easy to use product.
Great product. Easy to use and clear instructions. Having used both I much prefer a cartridge to a tub. Has done the job of resealing a stove perfectly. Note, the date on the one I received is the date of manufacture NOT the use by date - mine is dated Sep 2014 - so not only just in date as someone else suggested. The seller also dispatched it quickly.

No mess, no fuss
Used this make in the past and have always been happy with it. But like most fire cements it tends to crack and fall out of the gaps over time and the black tends to turn grey after a while.I decided to use a cartridge rather than a tub this time because its a lot easier to apply and doesn't create any mess or waste. just make sure you've got an application gun.

Works greak and easy to use with no mess.
Great product and having it in cartridge form, (provided you have a cartridge applicator gun), makes the job much easier and cleaner. The actual cement is like a grainy putty, very easy to wash off your hands and dries to a dark grey colour.Used it to repair a multi-fuel heating stove flue where the original cement had started cracking and flaking out. Cleaned out the majority of the old cement with a screwdriver, filled it in again with the Everbuild KOS Fire Cement and wiped around the seal with a damp kitchen sponge to make a nice clean finish. The whole job took less than 10 minutes.
