As described and so simple
I had 2 sheets of acrylic sheet which had been used in a chicken coop as windows. No longer required for that purpose I kept it for 20yrs as "it may come in useful one day". Having almost thrown it out on numerous occasions this was a last ditch attempt to prove keeping had been worthwhile. I am now using this large cloche inside an unheated greenhouse to give an added layer of protection to my tomatoes which are now 3 inches tall and survived the frost of two weeks ago. Wonderful and simple invention. When the tomatoes are too tall I can take it outside. I have glass from an end of days greenhouse which can now be recycled into cloches. May be back for more.

It is a very clever but simple design and makes good lightweight cloches. Downside is the pvc sheets that needs to be bought to make the cloches are quite expensive.

Well designed and very good value for money.
Being a cheapskate I had been trying to design a cloche clip I could make myself for less than the retail price. I gave up when I saw the price for 12 of these. The fittings and sheet metal would have cost me more than buying these ready made and well designed clips. I used them to make cloches out of 4ft long toughened glass panels from an old conservatory. They did the job very well and were so easy to fit/remove even on the very heavy glass sheets. Money well spent.

DIY cloches are easy!
I was given some polycarbonate sheeting when a friend dismantled her greenhouse. These clips have turned the whole lot into useful cloches and saved me £40!

Excellent for home made cloches
Excellent product, ideal for making your own cloches - we used panes of glass for ours on our allotment. Very strong and should last for many years.

Mind your fingers, the metals sharp!
The mechanics of the cloche clips is very clever. A bit fiddly but very effective. Unfortunately the anywhere that the metal had been cut there were sharp edges and snaggy pieces. A real shame because the cipls are brilliant.

good clips
Hi these little clips are great for making up tent type cloches from plastic or glass sheeets approx 2 x 1 feet.I was going to make some up but at this price and quality buy these instead and get down to some gardening instead of making them...really great little units...very pleased ..Camm
