I had been using another make for 25 years which sadly was no longer available, I searched for a similar replacement and this seemed to fit the bill. It arrived in a speedy manner but upon opening the box it was apparent that 2 items were missing. the single filter and the coffee measure and tamper. I contacted the seller through Amazon and they quickly posted me the missing items. First impressions, seemed smaller than my old machine. also seemed less heavy and did not feel as robust. The coffee crema is very good, a bit too much really but operates quite fast. The frothing I have yet to master, but seems to froth too quickly so does not heat the milk, it may just be me, but have been making barista style coffee for a long time, so perhaps not. One point that is a downer is that removing coffee grains from the filter is not that easy, my previous machine had a unique push button which ejected the solid mass of coffee, this one sadly requires a knock box, but I am reluctant to use one as the robustness of the holder may not survive constant knocking. I have only had it for less than a week it has been used daily, lets see how it holds up, It does have a 3 year warranty so it it lasts that long for the money, I would recommend it. Having used for 3 weeks here are some worthy tips . Buy a child’s plastic spoon to remove coffee grouts from holder it’s much easier. Now when frothing the big tip and they do t tell you this is to put an empty cup under the wand, turn to steam and wait until all water stops coming out and you have a stream of steam only, then you will get your frothy milk. So have increased by one star to 4

UPDATE: vendor replaced the kettle without issue and it does as it is supposed to. Decent kettle and great service from the vendor on the replacement....We had high hopes for this kettle but alas it doesn’t work exactly as it should. We have to constantly reset the kettle by turning it off at the mains and the same issue causes the temperature gauge to not be accurate. Writing this review reminds me that I need to complain to the vendor to see what can be done to resolve these issues.

absolutely amazing piece of equipment & worth every single penny. i have wanted an espresso machine for a long time now & i am thrilled to be able to sit at home on my days off from work, drinking amazing cups of coffee, even if it is decafinated!this is such an easy piece of equipment for someone who has had no expierance in using one. i myself work as a chef & the restaurant i work in has one in the cafeteria so it is very nice to be able to have great tasting coffee while at home & at work! to anyone who feels a little overwhelmed by the looks of this machine, believe me it's pretty much put your ground coffee in, turn the dial to the left for the espresso & then turn the dial to the right for the milk steamer. and if you still feel overwhelmed by it.. believe me, if my fiance can use it who has never seen one in his life let alone use one then i promise you, you will have no difficulty using this one!definately great value for your money & if anyone is reading this review thinking 'yeah i would like it but it is expensive' just get it!! do it, do it, DO IT! you will not live to regret it!ps, enjoy your coffee! i sure am!

I use this kettle all the time for coffee and tea.It's a nice kettle with one fatal flaw: the touch-sensitive temperature setting.If your finger is slightly damp, or there is water someone on the kettle base (might be hidden under kettle itself), it doesn't work very well/at all.Also, even if everything is dry, there are some temperatures it REALLY makes it hard to set. The temperature just under 90 I often have to try to set about 5 times - my finger makes it light up at the correct point, but when I lift my finger, it jumps to the temp below or above!Please remake this kettle but just put on a couple of buttons for the temperature setting!

My old kettle, identical to this one, worked perfectly until it stopped! Because I liked this design and it matched other items in my kitchen I replaced it with an identical one. After testing the replacement kettle, it was discovered that it had an intermittent fault. I contacted the supplier who arranged for the kettle to be collected, we are self-isolating due to COVID-19. Once it arrived back at their premises a new one was dispatched; this one works perfectly. Great company to deal with and first-rate customer service. Thank you.
