Exactly as described and works great! Rep lament for an American Standard kitchen pull down faucet.

Perfect fit for my leaky Faucet. The item takes about 15 to 20 minutes to install, just have to remove the handle. As soon as I turned the water back on, no Leak!

This faucet valve fixed a loose / sloppy handle issue. it was easy to install. On my American Standard goose neck faucet there were just a few steps. Before you start shut off the water feeds under the sink and be sure you have no water coming through. 1) The handle has a circle which is half blue and half red indicator of hot / cold water. That indicator is a cap for a set screw. Pop off the plastic red/blue cap. 2) Loosen the set screw with a small allen wrench to remove the handle. 3) Remove the curved finish ring housing the valve. This just screws off counter clockwise. 4) Remove three machine screws and old valve. 5) Install new valve in the same position as the old valve. Turn screws to snug but not tight. replace handle and test by turning on the water. If it leaks tighten the screws a turn or two. 6) Screw in the finish ring, put the handle back on, tighten the set screw to snug. Test again. Push the red/blue cap back on.My installation took about 15 minutes.

Fits okay but it doesn't seem the ease of movement that the original valve had. My gut tells me this may be an product made a different manufacturer.

This cartridge is exactly what was in my American Standard faucet. Easy to replace. But the reason it needs replacing: the cartridge loses its stiffness, begins to open and close too easily and the weight of the handle actually pulls it open and it drips - or even flows.
