Let the Hard Boaters Sneer - These Exceed Expectations
Let the hard boaters sneer while you have all the fun and convenience. Wow, inflatables have come a long way. Due to space constraints, we had to make the switch to inflatables. I expected a huge degradation in performance. Instead, I found I have more fun. No, they're not quite as fast, but incredibly maneuverable and easy to setup/take down. I spin circles and lay back and tan my legs. Love the versatility. We paddle in rivers, bays, lakes and the ocean. They're a blast in Class II-III whitewater and feel playful.Quality and durability should be primary considerations in any inflatable and the Sea Eagle met and exceeded our initial expectations. Being able to easily carry the 30# "suitcase" to the waters edge is a dream compared to my 40# plastic kayak bumping into rocks and catching the wind. Even inflated, this is far easier to carry. And this won't fill with water. Having a footbrace of some kind is highly recommended if you're a strong paddler or are in more technical streams. We have the thigh brace straps for white water. This small package means we can transport both kayaks and our inflatable paddleboards easily. More fun for more people. Highly recommend.

QUARANTINE No More
We bought two Sea Eagle 300's and haven't looked back. They are a RELIEF from quarantine as we paddle around the local reservoir or rivers. We pack a lunch for longer days or just take drinks and snacks for those short ones. Sometimes we go out twice a day just because! The boats are so sturdy, roomy, and easy to inflate and get into the water. The seats are soooo comfortable! The only small problem we had is catching our fingernails/hands on the metal loops on each side of the boat. We got some boating gloves and that problem is solved! Maybe we are paddling incorrectly? It happened to me a few times so I mentioned it to my husband. He said he was experiencing it, too.Watching the video on the Sea Eagle website for instructions and info was an excellent tool for us.We have also experienced many people asking us about the kayaks - a lot of interest in them!

Great Product, Poor Customer Service
When I received the Sea Eagles I notised that the stitching that attaches the carry straps was poorly done and coming loose. I sent a text to sea eagle with no response. So I decided to take both to a local shoe repair shop and paid $50 to have the total of 8 attachment points restitched. It made no sense to return them.

I will not recommend this company to deal with
This is solid and well designed inflatable kayak. here is why I gave only 2 stars. In mine the keel holder was simply damaged: It was impossible to slide the keel into, because the channel was too narrow in one spot one side (the defect was about 2 in long).I think it has happened during attachment of the keel holder. It was simply overheated. The problem is that I figured it out only two month after I have received the item, just before going to test it this spring. Prior to that I glued on my kayak oars locks, rod holder, sliding anchor system . So I had to fix my keel rim with sand paper to make it thinner in order to slide it in. So here my advice: Once you receive the item check EVERYTHING! Including how the keel fits in! Overall, this is my second purchase from this company: First was inflatable catamaran for fishing. That item also was damaged and I had to send it back. I received a new one, BUT guess: The new one was outdated model without keels on pontoons. In conclusion, I will not recommend this company to deal with, no matter how great are their advertisements. Please, understand this is my own experience.

This kayak is jiust right.
This kayak is jiust right. It is very stable. Good in white water or for paddling on a lake. The rudder keeps it going straight on flat water. It folds up and fits in my car trunk so there are no real storage issues. It is very well constructed. This is my third Sea Eagle. I highly recommend this KAYAK
