I will never regret buying this oven.I was looking for a replacement for a halogen over that I had a couple of years ago, and when I saw this was delighted that there were models that could also act as a rotisserie as well.When it arrived, I was quite disappointed at how small the interior was; but in fact if you are buying for just two people then the capacity is more than adequate. I've has this a month and so far have roasted chickens, pork, gammon and a beautiful beef roast on the spit. The meat it well done (to a turn!) and crispy on the outside and super juicy within. It does take a bit of practice preparing meat for the rotisserie, but once you get the hang of it you will not be disappointed with the result.Gone are the days of waiting for the traditional over to heat up and cooking times are fast to. The 1.2 Kg beef joint was done to a perfect blushing pink in 55 minutes.I would recommend a couple of accessories you can purchase from the company's website - you'll need the splatter guard to protect the element, and the steak cage has come in real handy for smaller items (lamb chops were great done in this)Since this was delivered in July, I've switched on my traditional over once. It's now just a storage cupboard for roasting trays!

In the interests of fairness, the first cooker that was delivered was defective and had to be replaced. The frying basket clip tends to fail when food falls against the door and this can damage the non stick coating (and dump your food in the water in the pan). I got around that by making a wire ring to hold the fry basket closed regardless of how heavy the food in it is. Those are the only two things I can say against this device.I've had this for over a year now and use it several times a week, more often than my main oven. It is an effective oven or grill, doesn't need preheating and remains a safe temperature to the touch (indicative of how well insulated and efficient the device is). Pretty much anything I can cook in a conventional oven cooks just as well in this, while using less electricity and without preheating, although I do use tye standard time and temperatures rather than reducing them as suggested.The rotissairy feature raises this above any cooker I've previously owned, the skewer and forks do a beautiful roast, as the meat rotates it effectively self bastes as the juices run around it. You have to be careful that the meat isn't too big to rotate in the cooker, this is a particular problem with chickens although some butcher's string helps.The frying basket makes great oven chips, evenly browned, and even better chicken wings, provided you've found a way to stop it popping open of course! The two height grill rack and mesh tray cover pretty much all conventional cooking scenarios and provides nice, crispy, oven heated food.Optional accessories are good. The kebab accessory rotates eight skewers of food in the heat, again this is helpful in self basting and gives nice even cooking. The rotating basket gives some of the nicest and most evenly cooked sausages and burgers that I've ever tasted, I haven't tried a steak in it yet though, I like "black and blue" too much.Clean up is easy, if there's sufficient mess not to just wash the non stick bowl you can add a little water and some detergent, run it for twenty minutes at low temperature and wipe out the residue, it's practically self cleaning.I would recommend buying the screen that fits over the bulb, it is supposed to significantly increase bulb life. A year in mine is getting noisy, I'm thinking of taking it apart to see if something has just come loose, but if it does die on me I'll buy another the same day, I've used it so much that it has been more than worth the one pound something a week it has cost me (less the electricity it has saved).

i Have had one of these for several years but it has finally gone to that great kitchen in the Sky. There was no hesitation in purchasing another one but the inner pot is nothing like my previous one. That was very substantial and I could scrub it lightly with a green scrubber cloth if necessary. This pot on the first day I had two patches of silver showing thro and I hadn’t even used it. I now like another customer have to put a baking sheet in the bottom. The machine itself is brilliant and if I thought I would get any satisfaction from from the company I would contact them. I have just realised there is a link on a email sent to me so I will pursue the pot matter further. With inferior pot I cannot in all honesty recommend this item although it is great.

I love it so much - I'm hooked on using it! A must for fuel economy, especially for anyone living alone - you just wouldn't put a big oven on for just a couple of slices of garlic bread for example would you?! SIX minutes from start in the halogen oven - job done, brilliant! I even find myself planning meals round my lovely oven - I'm becoming an oven bore!!! In summary - quick, easy and economical and a great boon for anyone living alone! This model is far better with it's attached lid than the glass "loose lid" versions (I had one of these first and returned it)

Does what is says it does, but you need to purchase other items to do it , rather large with fiddly bits. sometimes awkward when emptying the rotisserie basket as it is red hot You will also need to purchase a guard if you try to cook a chicken in it. I bought the smallest size of chicken and it was still to large ....I think it will be one of the items that finish up in a cupboard most of its life

All works well,rotisserie needs a small chicken(about 2 lbs),chips worked well in the basket,and a whole 3 lb chicken cooked well on the stand.Very easy to clean,but I think the splatter guard should be equipped as standard.Cuts out waiting fot the oven to heat up,and I can see the food cooking.I like the insulted case too,much safer than other types.

the only thing I would say is when the rotisserie basket is in there is not enough room at the bottom to put anything else, a wee bit disappointing as on the video It looks like you can, but it wouldn't have put me of as its still a good product

I have had this oven for 2 days, and have used it for all of my cooking needs. I think it is going to be a great asset. Very versatile, and so easy to use. I put water in the base before use, as recommended, so cleaning was just a wipe. Very good.
