Can you cook tomatoes sauce in this pan to make spaghetti

I generally use a large sauce pan or something larger like a kettle to slow-cook large quantities of fresh tomatoes for pasta sauce, I wouldn't usually consider a frying pan. That said, if your objective is to cook down a can of tomatoes and add some seasonings (maybe sauteeing some onion and garlic first) for a quick pasta sauce, this pan would be great. On the other hand you could use ANY good fry pan for this purpose. The beauty of this particular pan is its non stick features, which are REALLY good! I especially love it for eggs - omelletes or fried eggs.

What is the warranty on this set?

Non Stick cookware comes with a 1-year limited warranty. Improper storage, like unprotected stacking, and improper use and care are not covered. Use of medium heat or higher, exposure to temperatures above 500F, metal utensils, dishwasher use, or exposure to heat while empty will void warranty. Made In’s non stick coating is professional grade, but no coating will last a lifetime and normal depreciation from use is expected and not covered under warranty.

What is the Difference between carbon steel & non-stick pans?

There are many differences between the two. Carbon Steel can be considered a hybrid of cast iron and stainless, and Non Stick is a stainless clad pan with a non stick coating. Carbon requires seasoning and will ultimately last a long time with the proper care, versus Non Stick, which requires no seasoning and typically needs to be replaced every 1-2 years. Carbon has a higher heat threshold whereas we recommend Non Stick for more delicate dishes and cooking around low to medium for ultimate longevity of the pan.

What grade Stainless Steel is used as the outer layer? I am looking for 430 Stainless Steel, for good induction performance.

The bottom of the Pans are 430 stainless. They are Really Good pans. We use them daily.
