FiberCore Eco Bedding for Small Pet, 1.5 lb, Blue

It's a good bedding overall.It is a bit more expensive than other bedding types, but you get what you pay for -- it is completely dust-free, and a little goes a long way. The strips of paper come tightly crinkled, so only a couple handfuls expand to 3x the size (at least) after a day or so of your pets'playing 'architect'.The only complaint I have is that it's tough to clean up any stray strips of paper that fall out of the habitat. Because the strips are quite long at full length, they tend to get wrapped around broom bristles and vacuum rollers, wheels, etc. I learned quickly that changing the bedding by sucking it up with a small shop-vac is a no-go -- vacuumed-up bedding gets 'fluffed up' as the tornado of air teases it around in the canister, not unlike cotton candy... it quickly backed up and became a brick of compressed paper in the hose that I had to loosen/pick out bit by bit.Still, my favorite disposable bedding thus far. I do like the Kaytee Soft Granules product, but it's expensive and my little rats seemed all too curious about eating it, so I made the switch to this Eco Bedding. I still look forward to being able to use fleece/towels once they're a bit older, though.

Dont know about absorbancy as these are tiny pieces. Only bedding that has no dust. Great item
