Beautiful mix of "country and today"
Got this fan for my FROG to "stand out" yet match color of the furniture in that room. It gives a lil statement yet blends in. Remote makes it possible for guests to use w/o having to get up n down. Seems a quiet operation, easy to use remote operated fan. My installer said easy to put together and put up, at 1/3 the weight of fan it replaced. Looks very good quality at the great price I got on Amazon. Very pleased

Nice looking
I love the look of this and it was fairly easy to assemble. The dimmable lights are cool as we all know that these ceiling fan lights are usually bright. The only concern I have is that the only way you can turn it on and off is with the remote that came with it. No way to power it on or off on the unit itself. Nice and quiet.

Good fan. Tips to install below
This fan moves some air! Works well so far, had it installed for a couple weeks. The motor is quiet and while it moves air, it's not super noisy about it.Unexpectedly, the remote control box (installed above the fan in the ceiling bracket) beeps when you turn on the wall switch.I put the remote on the wall with a sticky pad instead of using the provided screws.(2 AAA batteries needed, not included)When we first turn on the fan, it starts to rotate one direction, slows and then goes the other direction. Every time. I guess it's supposed to do that.Got dimming LED light bulbs and it does dim a good bit but not as far down as I'd hoped. The 60 second light off button doesn't work for some reason. I haven't tried the timer buttons for the fan.The settings on the 6 speeds for the fan are great, husband likes it on 6 best. I tried out the natural wind setting but it didn't blow very much so we haven't used that.Notes on installation. This fan only needs one light switch, old fan had a wall switch for the fan and a wall switch for the light. Up in the ceiling, I didn't know which wire was fan and which one was light from the fan we took down. I was able to take the wall plate off the wall and look at the color wires going to the switches to figure out which one to use. I wire nuts capped the end of the one we didn't use and left it in the ceiling. The book has somewhat generic pictures in half the instructions so it took some figuring out to make sure I had the right part in the right place.I included pictures of the book and circled the control box. It gets tucked into the ceiling bracket U shape. The wiring cup in the room we installed in is quite shallow so I had to figure out how to get all the wiring & wire nuts folded back up in there flat enough so the control box would slide in there. Once I got the fan down rod in the bracket and the wires tucked up, I slide the control box into the bracket, and then connected the 3 plugs that go into the control box - one from the ceiling wiring adapter, one for light, one for fan.One snag we ran into, because the pictures were not clear/helpful - was we had to re thread the wiring through down rod several times because we didn't put the top two cover flanges on in order the first time. We used a pencil or screwdriver and needle nose pliers to help encourage the wiring to go through the down rod - there is a cross rod that cuts the opening of the down rod in half so you have to carefully push/pull the wiring through that have the ends that plug into the control box.Once you have the wiring through the down rod, check and make sure you have enough slack on the other end to wire up the lights - I almost had to take everything apart once I got to the light install part because I had really short wires left on the lights side. It's extremely helpful to have 2 people to put the light part on. Everything else I was able to do with one person but you have to wire up the lights with wire nuts before you can attach it to the fan. And a magnetic screwdriver for the screws is very helpful as it's a tight space and we dropped several screws in the process of putting on the light part.My teen put the decorative glass parts on the light with no trouble at all, he did that before we installed it up to the fan and that's probably a good idea because it's lots of small fasteners to be dropped. The finish on the metal is not that sturdy and we ended up with a few minor (not visible from the floor) scratches from screws rubbing across as we got them into the holes so watch out for parts rubbing together or scraping during installation.Pretty straight forward ceiling fan install once you figure out the wiring diagrams & control box dohicky. It took me about 2 hours total from taking out the old fan to final screws on the new one. Hopefully from reading these tips (and not dropping screws) you can get it down quicker.

Absolute garbage
Purchased this fan and was so excited because it is beautiful. First delivery showed up with broken parts, so I had to order a replacement one. Had fan installed and was amazing the first couple weeks we had it. Fan has only been up a month and it has stopped working. Lights will still turn on and dim via remote, but the fan itself will not engage. Went through troubleshooting videos and they were just basics. Fan is 2 days outside of the 30 day returnable time frame according to Amazon. Website to contact the manufacturer is not very easy to navigate either. I have not been able to find a way to get in touch with anyone over this. I would not waste the time or money on this product.

The remote control fan is the way to go!
I purchased one of these fans for my living room and I liked it do much I purchased another for our bedroom. This remote control is so much better than getting up and pulling the chain. I can stay lying down and if I get a little too cold I can just press a button to turn it off, on, up or down.

Ok
The appearance is nice, remote control, performance is decent, noise is minimal, quality is decent and as far as brightness depends on the bulbs.
