The most helpful item purchased for hip replacement surgery
Of all the tools purchased for my hip replacement surgery, the Vive Raised Toilet Seat has been the most helpful. After using a standard height toilet before coming home from the hospital, I know for certain I would not have wanted to be without this seat at home! The 3.5 inch additional height is just right. It installed easily & we put our current seat/lid combo right on top of it. It fits our standard toilet perfectly & is very secure. This model does not come with bars but the toilet is so close to the sink, grab bars were not needed. And having a walker for the first couple of weeks would have made bars moot anyway. It is easy to clean as well. Just spray with cleaner/disinfectant & wipe dry. Surgery was 5 weeks ago & so far, this seat is holding up perfectly. Make sure you measure your toilet before purchase to determine if you need standard or elongated. Worth the price & would recommend this elevated toilet seat. Especially if you are having hip replacement surgery.

Se pone la base junto con el asiento que ya se tenga, lo que permite levantar ambas cosas para mayor higiene al hacer orina parado, y además, permite limpieza total. Altamente recomendable

My opinion is the shipper should have a better relationship with customers such as myself.
The seats work fine except after having them a while I hear some kinda popping noise and the little pads that they put on between the seat and the toilet itself. One of them is falling off and another one’s moving so I expect it’s gonna happen to my both us that I replaced the. The ship is a third-party seller with Amazon and I think they blocked my calls because they didn’t wanna do anything for me. They told me to go to the Home Depot and get more pads that are probably gonna fall off as well other than that, this seat when it raises up allows you to clean the toilet bowl really good doesn’t block your view from anything. It’s too bad the shipperhas an attitude of not caring for the people that are buying their product so I called Amazon and we’ll see what happens
