Kitras Single Ornament Holder

I was really disappointed that the company's stand was not compatible with its globes. It was the main reason I paid the higher price for this particular stand and, in the end, it didn't matter anyway. Incredibly disappointed in product. When I contacted the company, however, they got right back to me explaining that the 'hook' on the ornament is not intended to be used directly with the stand and fishing wire (for a floating look) or ribbon should be used to hang it. I appreciate their speedy reply; BTW, this has also been the case in the past when I have contacted them regarding replacement stakes for my solar garden ornaments. Note: there is a tag on the ornament connected with fishing wire, so if you want that 'floating effect', simply remove the tag leaving the wire connected to the hook.

The Kitras single ornament holder is advertised as fitting the Kitras glass ornaments but it does not. The top curved black iron piece is much too thick to go through the glass ornament's top connector. I had to buy a separate tiny S-hook that I could bend to get through the ornament's top solid glass hanger to place the ornament on the holder. It looks great now, but I didn't appreciate having to buy an extra hook just to fit the Kitras glass ornament on the Kitras single ornament holder. I wish that Kitras Art Glass would make this mis-match clearer in their Amazon description and provide a small S-hook or other connector with the stand to overcome this problem - it's well documented in the buyer comments. If the stand fit the ornament without needing extra hardware or tying the ornament to the holder, I would have rated the stand with five stars.

Make sure of the size! Definitely bigger and heavier than I expected but it turns out to be exactly what I needed. It took some getting used to but is perfect for a heavier object. I definitely would not want to hang a delicate ornament from this stand. I think it is too substantial for that. I am using it for a fairly heavy Pairpoint Glass witch ball and it looks great. I have a lava ball from Mt. St. Helens that would look equally good on this stand, too.

I purchased the 6" tree if life and the 6" fairy orbs and they were larger than I thought, so I saw the ornament holder on Amazon and purchased two. I assumed the opening on the orbs would fit over the stand hook to hang the orbs on for display, because nothing was mentioned that you would need some type of hanger or hook to hang the orb on. The stand is beautifully made. Just saying....would have been nice if manufacturer would suggest or sell some type of hook so that we would know it would be necessary for displaying our orbs.

The pictured item is not what was sent. It will have to do because it seems what I thought I ordered is not available. Disappointing.

We were given a large glass ball with a loop on the top for use as an ornament. Too big for any normal ornament use. Looked on Amazon under the company name which made the ball and alas the company makes a hanger! We purchased and it helps display this beautiful, colorful glass ball as a center piece or other....

This is a great stand, seems well made, etc. Perfect for my 6-inch ball(s) to display, except they don't tell you the ball won't hang on the hook. You have to purchase an "S" hook or other connection in order to use. I would have appreciated knowing that before I ordered. Other than that, I am pleased.

I recently purchased beautiful Kitras 6" blown-glass "Tree of Healing" ornament and needed a stable, large ornament holder for it. I was delighted to find this on Amazon at a great price. My ornament is now displayed on my dresser, where I can see it at night when I go to sleep and first thing in the morning when I wake up. It helps me get centered and focused on my health, which is exactly what I intended.
