Very neat. Until you try to connect cables to the RPi boards.
Yes, you can mount 5 RPi boards in a 19" rack. BUT there is no clearance between the boards to plug in HDMI cables without attacking the connectors with a scalpel, and the 19" housing itself is about 10mm wider than the standard enclosure dimensions, which means it will not fit into some racks. Overall, a good idea badly executed and not terribly well made either.

This updated unit works great! Pi's work great!
TL;DR: This updated unit works great for mounting your Raspberry Pi's (I used 4b unit's) into your rack. Just make sure you remove the CPU heatsink off so that the PoE hat fits on top.I picked up this updated unit after reviewing online a variety of options. This all in one unit hit all of the points that I required, rack mount / poe / 4+ units. The reviews on the older versions was hit or miss but the reviews and questions/answers all made it sound like Uctronics worked to improve the unit based on feedback form users. I took the chance. When the unit arrived everything looked fine. I opened my first tray and slide it into the slot and screwed in the first button and it worked and went for the second button and it did not. It was slightly off on one side ultimately I found out. Before I became disappointed I tried the second tray and it worked fine, I then proceeded to test the last three trays and they all worked fine. Okay so 4 trays out of 5 are functional. I contacted the seller (Uctronics) via Amazon and informed them of my discovery and they requested a picture. I submitted a picture and they sent me 2 replacement trays (I think since I sent them a picture of a working tray and the non-working tray they thought I had 2 non-working trays). I informed them that I only needed 1 tray but now I have a extra tray.Circling back to the system. I mounted 2 raspbery pi's into it and all worked fine. I am using a Navpoint 12U rack and the unit mounted with ease. I inserted the 2 pi's and screwed them in and plugged into my switch and powered them up. No issue discovered.I did have some difficulty with getting the display to work on my unit but with the help of the message with Uctronics they provided guidance on how to get the display working. They even updated this listing and their own website with the info you need to find the display on their git. The only problem I found with the display is that the script that they have you write to have it start on boot is missing the #!/usr/bash shell part at the beginning. That part caused me some time to figure out.I am a happy camper with my system and would encourage anyone that is looking for this unit to give it a try if it matches their needs.Attached are 5 images of my unit. Rack mounted as well as the replacement trays that they shipped to me. I did have to move over the power button, LCD screen and protective cover from the defective tray to the replacement tray.

Solid enclosure, only 4/5 POE hats work
Fits well in my rack and, while tight, holds my Raspberry Pi 4 Model Bs no problem. LED display is also a nice touch. Only gripe is with product support - have been trying for a few weeks now with multiple tickets to get someone to respond to my request for a replacement POE hat (one will not power on) and crickets so far... meanwhile, attempts to find the exact make of hat haven't panned out.

Perfect other then the fans
The case is solid and the install instructions for the LCD screens are super straight forward. Only complaint is the fans sound awful and are loud. All but one have a terrible grinding noise and compared to the official pie POE hat which hardly ever turns on and when it does is near silent these I can hear a room over.

Definitely an upgrade, Still would like to see some other things
I used to have v1 of this product and every single fan ended up having some bearing issue which caused it to scream (audibly). They 100% fixed that issue in v2. In fact, the new fans are quieter, even against the v1 fans when they worked correctly.Pros:- Fans are much better- Casing is built well (I don't really notice a difference between v1 and v2)- The PoE hats have less complicated hardware, making it easier to installCons:- Heat is still an issue. There should be some consideration for case fans in v3. I sawed out some holes in each side and installed 2 Noctua 40mm x 10mm fans and cooling is considerably better. I went from all 5 rpi4 devices throttling at 60C - 65C (with no case fans), to ~45C (with Noctua fans). I was able to get 35C - 40C with the case open and two 120mm case fans blowing directly on the rpis.- The OLED display is the exact same. I put it in cons because half the display is taken up by the ip address and makes it difficult to see the other metrics. I would almost like to not have any display and make room for something else.- The fans only have one speed. The one thing that the OEM PoE hat had was programmable fan speeds. I haven't had any issues with the PoE hat's not providing enough power though. That was an issue I had with one OEM hat.Overall the product is good, but they could leave some things off (like the pointless OLED display) and make it a little more worth the money. It's a great product, I just don't think I would recommend it to anyone. The price is almost $300 for a product that should cost no more than $150.

They work for more than advertised...
So I don't leave a lot of reviews, but this one was calling for it. The item arrived a few days earlier than expected. Upon receiving I checked as I wanted to ensure that they were not damaged in transit. The packaging keeps them well protected. When going to use these I happened across one of my older Raspberry Pi's that happened to be an old 2 B+ model. Now these say that they are for the 3 and 4 versions. Figured the worst that may happen is it 1) doesn't fit at all or 2) shorts the pie out and being that old gives me a reason to buy a new one. To my great delight it worked fine on a 2 B+. Note: The 2 B+ does not have the pins for the POE function, but I don't run a POE switch anyways so wasn't worried about that. The display though worked fine! Speaking of the display, they created this to run on the standard version of Raspbian. I can attest it is easily adapted to also work without issue on DietPi. Currently running 9 Pi's for various server functions from FlightAware, Home Assistant, Plex, RTL-SDR receiver, and more. Two of these in a six up rack along with a shelf, power strip, and switch really cleaned up the mess. All of the hats worked, all the sleds mounted into the casing just fine, fit the rack perfectly. All I can say is if you are a serious Raspberry Pi user then this is an amazing way to showcase your setup and keep track of everything you have running!
