So I’m doing intermittent fasting and needed something to monitor my blood sugar levels over a period of time. Plus wasn’t sure I wanted to spend >£50 on a CGM that would only check for 14/28 days etc. After reading many a review I opted for this one. As well as good reviews replacing the lances and strips seemed easy and cheap enough. Good manual and quick guide to get you started - nice clear pictures. Did waste a few test strips initially due to insufficient sample size. You can adjust the depth of the lance - was a bit of a wuss thought a lower setting would be less painful - honestly just start at 3/3.5 the latter works best for me. You’ll need a drop of blood about 3mm in diameter, too small and you’ll waste a test strip. Error code E-7. Also I did bend a few lances pulling off the disc on the top, recommend rotating it several times before gently pulling it off. Also does say keep and then push the lance into the front to dispose. Personally thought this could get knocked off, so I push it at an angle on the kitchen tiles, to bend it flush with the plastic. This way it can’t prick anyone. All packs away quite neatly in the bag supplied - see photo. So glad I bought this as at one point after doing exercise post not eating for 48 hrs my blood sugar was just 3.0 so ended my fast immediately. Found it easy to use, hence highly recommended.

The kit works well, quite satisfied with it.

I had this monitor now for a few weeks and must admit it’s easy to set up and use find it easy to read test results only thing I’ve found is the Lancing DeviceIt’s now not loading so I have to manually pick my fingers with the needle as to say not great have looked at Sinocare to see if I can get a replacement but it looks like they don’t must admit the Lancing Device is very flimsy and cheaply made

It took me a while to get this to work as I'm impatient when reading instructions but once I 'got it together',it works great! it doesn't need a lot of blood at all as two buyers suggested,-about 2-3mm is enough. but you must put the very tip of testing strip into the blood, not lay it flat into blood as I first did.-it sucks it up & there's plenty of blood left over. After finding the doctors & hospital needles very painful,-the needles in this kit don't hardly hurt at all,-so what a relief! Yes, a very good buy & people should learn how to use it properly before blaming the gadget!

Great product, having been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, (possibly due to years of steroids for respiratory issues) I wanted a simple answer to monitor my blood sugars to keep a record of what affects my readings etc, I settled on the Sinocare kit. Easy to use and simple to read, compact to carry and controls very simple to use.

Brilliant little gadget all kept in it's storage bag. Vaule for money and ease to use straight away. Just beware went inserting testing paper to avoid errors
