Proper Replacement
It's difficult to discern here what is wrong when the system fails to respond to the remote's commands. Is it the Hub, the IT cable or the Remote....? My prblm was all 3 due to saltwater splashes. Replacing 1 at a time was painful!

First one was defective; hoping second one works.
First one was defective. Ordered a replacement. Hoping it works. :-(Update - Received second unit. One of the buttons on it didn't work. Fortunately (??) it is a really cheap construction, so I was able to peel off the button membrane and clean off the contacts under the button which didn't work. Now it works fine. Glad it's working now, but sheesh - first unit completely DOA, and second one I had to fiddle with to get it to work. :-(
