Someone in a different review said to use an adhesive strip on the back of the lights because it’s easier to mount that way, but I found that didn’t work for me or at least with my wall so I had to use the tiny little screws which were a bit finicky, but still easy to install. I’ve had them for over a month now and they are great. However, one time they sort of like glitched out and it looked like there was a rave being thrown in my room. They were blinking every millisecond, but I just reset the color in the app and it was fine. Personally, I don’t use the remote control because why would I when there is an app on my phone that can control it. Overall I am very pleased; there are more expensive versions of this so I was hesitant to buy it thinking it might be cheaper quality but so far so good. Very impressed

First package didn’t work at all and the replacement worked great for two weeks and now will only glow purple. All within a span of a month and a half. Above was review written a month and a half after purchase. The below is my feelings today, 4+ months later. The light wouldn’t turn on today. Hasn’t been touched at all even though the power cord was properly lit up showing it was receiving power. I went to investigate and found the cord disconnected (pictured). This rope light works nicely WHEN IT WORKS but the power to cord connection is insanely weak, flimsy, and unreliable. Save your money and get a nicer cord or go cheaper and get one that only glows one color. Not even 5 months of gentle use and it randomly disconnected? Bad.

This is pretty neat! It looks like real neon and really brightens up a room. The remote is handy but the app is awesome with tons of color options and the ability to change with your music or the microphone on the device itself or your phone. It is very bright but you also have the option to dim it on the remote and app. For the price, I’m very happy with this. The only thing is the hooks it comes with to hang it up aren’t the best. Plus I rent, so I want minimal holes in the wall. I bought some double sided command strips that were the more “heavy duty” and used that to put it up rather than put the screws in my wall or have the obvious command hooks holding it up. Works great and I’ve had no issues.

I bought several of these to try out for my music room and game room. I love the colors, the remote, and the ability to link all the ropes together on my phone digitally and run them from there. One of my ropes died unexpectedly, no rhyme or reason. Potentially just a fluke. I contacted the customer service department. Gave them the proof they needed. They were quick to resolve my issue, I’ve been using all my ropes for various events and parties. I love them. Pros- easy to set up, easy to sync to phone, cheaper than most out there, good customer service if anything happens. Cons- the end caps have a little difficult staying on, but if you have a hot glue gun or super glue you could fix it if it bothers you. I haven’t had to do anything, the clips could be better potentially but for what they are they work.

I liked this product. I liked that it was flexible so I could make it into pretty much any shape. The lights can get bright or dim which is great. I wanted to give 5 stars, but there were some things I did not like. They should include more little plastic clips. When using the remote to change colors, the colors didn’t match. For example when I picked the pink button, the lights would be green. I downloaded the app and it seems like everything should work. Could very well be user error. But I’d like to think I know how to handle that. I still can’t seem to figure it out. So I just press all the colors until I get to the one I want.

i love the way it came out. the app is easy to use. i see a lot of reviews saying the remote doesn’t work but mine works totally fine, you just have to point it in the general direction of the receiver. to attach it to the wall you use clips that you have to screw into the wall. i do wish it came with more clips, it only has 10 so you kind of have to try to plan ahead where you’re going to need to put them if you don’t want a bunch of extra holes in the wall from moving them around. it would be a little easier/faster to plan out a shape with two people to be able to hold it up, but i managed just fine on my own. just a lot of picking up and putting down lol. i don’t think it took me more than 20-30 minutes.

I bought multiple of these and I’m in the process of returning them all. Either where the light strip connects to the power supply is faulty or half the light strand doesn’t even light up. Bought the first one and it worked so I ordered a few more. Received two faulty ones then when I finally got a good replacement, half of the original light strand that was working went out. The mounts are also a joke, ended up using heavy duty command strips. And the remote is not infrared, you have to aim the remote at the sensor from no more than ten feet away. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I have had Govee products in the past and I tried this product not being Govee and this has worked amazing! The sound sensor is amazing and shocked me! The color options are beautiful too! It only came with 10 brackets to put on the wall I needed 12 to create the shape I wanted but that was easily solved by some command strips! Please don’t screw the brackets on the wall it is hard, get some command strips and cut them to the size that will fit the brackets and cut the command strips for loose parts on your rope if isn’t tight enough! Love this so much!
