Excellent value!
I bought this sharpener in spite of a few iffy reviews…I’m very glad I did…I love it. I have already sharpened enough blades to pay for the sharpener. Some reviews mentioned that it’s not a precision tool. I’m sure there are more precise sharpeners, but they cost two or three times as much. I don’t use the stops that come with the tool as I found it easier to simply use my eyes and hands to judge the cuts on each tooth. It worked an absolute charm. Each saw blade is sharper than when I bought them. I couldn’t be more pleased. If you’re good around hand tools at all, you will find this sharpener easy to use and very effective.

Good sharpener!
Good sharpener for the price paid. Very happy with product as very easy to use.Quiet, good engine, not getting hot.To set tool not take long.Get sharped my 6 dull blades and get my money back. With time will upgrade some bolts and spanners. More comfortable to use with head torch as you need to see grinding area well lit. Highly recommend for carpenters.

Very useful item
I gave this 4 stars but considering it's low price, maybe I should have given 5, It is quite fiddly to set up and could be easily damaged. The metal is quite soft. What could be called pot metal. On the upside I have sharpened 5 blades that would have cost around £125 to replace. There was a learning curve, I learned things about saw blades I never knew before. Sharpening a blade isn't as straightforward as I thought. If you are happy to spend half an hour learning about the bevels etc on a saw blade, assuming you don't already know, and 20 mins of your time isn't worth more than the cost of a replacement blade then I think you could find this a good investment.

A reasonable machine for the price
Value for money it is probably the best I have seen on the market.I note with interest the reviews I read prior to purchasing the machine. Many commented about the lack of refinement. It would not have been difficult to modified the design to include fine adjustment using threaded bolts. This would greatly enhance the operation and performance of the device. It is evident from reading the reviews that those people with technical and practical knowledge are able to adapt the machine using their expertise to improve the machine operation.Hence the reason I gave the machine three stars.

Paid for it's self already
Took me 15 minutes to set it up and I was ready to start. My local guy charges 30 pence per tooth, so it paid for it's self on the first day 😁
