Perfect for families considering a pet!
What a wonderful and beautifully illustrated book. It is a must have for any household with toddlers present or visiting, and who have, or are considering getting a pet. It is written in a way that prompts great discussion on caring for the family pet. There is nothing inappropriate at all for children in this book, but as others have said--adults might experience a bit of a chuckle over the title.

Funny Title, Extremely Poor Execution
The cover and title were hilarious enough to warrant buying this book as a gag gift. Unfortunately, when it arrived, the book is poorly written and does not show continuity with the cover. It’s very boring with preschool level text. Not worth the $.

Not Just For Young Children & Pussy Lovers
A veritable tour de force in the RYK category (Really Young Kids); but is surprisingly engaging and informative for older readers as well (I, for one, never knew there was a proper way to pet a hamster). With the heart-rending twist of having Michelle Obama instructing, "Don't Grab That Pussy" is sure to be a hit with all ages and not just pussy lovers.

Wasted Potential
The title is hilarious and the premise sounds funny but this is such a missed opportunity. It feels more like a cash grab than anything else. They could've started with why he has to be taught how to treat animals or put more effort into it. Last Week Tonight with John Oliver presents A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo would be a far better purchase if it ever comes back in stock.

Good way to show toddlers how to interact with pets
Cute book, beautiful illustrations. For those of you wondering, there is nothing political or potentially offensive in the content - it is truly a book appropriate for little kids. Parents may get a chuckle from the title, but kids will just enjoy looking at the animals, learning each animal's name. Good way to help teach toddlers how to interact with various types of pet (gently!) and treat all life with respect and care.

Even my own cat enjoyed the book and its fun message
How often does a writer combine "current events" with a truly important guide on how to be kind to pets and other animals? A very refreshing approach to make children and us parents smile together as we read it together. Well done. Even my own cat enjoyed the book and its fun message.
