The distant past is far more interesting than we first think!
If you have ever really wondered about the Great Pyramids at Giza and have been a little sceptical about them being a place of burial, after all, they represent a colossal building project (sadly they are no longer in the beautiful condition they were apparently once in) and with the construction defying the simple logic of an incredible burial chamber, Christopher Dunn posits a far more interesting and likely role, that of an ancient power-producing facility. Chris does not throw you in the deep end, rather he carefully lays out each area within the Grand Pyramid and then gradually creates his theory that the pyramid was indeed an ancient method of providing electricity. There is evidence aplenty to prove this theory and while we cannot know for sure the purpose of these amazing artefacts, nonetheless it is easy to become a firm convert to Chris’s ideas once the book is read in full. I have had to buy three copies of the damn thing because people who have equally become converts neglected to return them having borrowed them in a panic of great interest and promises to get their own copies! I am not holding my breath!

Listening to people with different opinions is very important . you shouldn’t be told how to think
Christopher like me is an engineer I don’t have his background, but I have worked all over the world as a Water engineer. As I got older and more experienced my job changed to problem-solving and investigating issues that were challenging.Christopher looks at the great pyramid and doesn’t see it as a sarcophagus and neither do I. You wouldn’t build something like that with the awkward passages andChristopher put forward alternative opinions. He may be right he may be wrong but he doesn’t accept the standard answers to things that don’t make sense..There are many things in this world that don’t make sense and we need more people to question things and point out that the standard answers are most likely utter nonsense

Fluff
I was really looking forward to this book. Ordered it immediately when I heard about it during interview on UnchartedX. Though Dunn was quite weird on that episode, not much willing to answer questions. Anyway, It cost me 30€ and three weeks of waiting, which is sad when I see it here for third. I read the previous two books and I really liked them.Unfortunately, this one is very meh. I am little beyond page 120 and I think I skipped most of the content. It's just filler with no substance. It brings no new information and just quotes and philosophises a lot. It's nothing like the previous two books - at all.Sure, I am far from end but I doubt it will change much. So no, I cannot recommend this book whatsoever, but I can absolutely recommend the previous two.
